20090299644 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELECTING SAMPLES FROM AN ANTIBODY ANALYSIS FOR DISPLAY OF COMPLETE SPECIFICITY ANALYSIS DATA - A system and method provides for selecting one or more samples from an antibody specificity analysis for displaying complete antibody specificity analysis data. A plurality of sample sera are run through a protein panel for antibody analysis and a specificity analysis is completed. A positive or negative screening result is displayed for each sample within the panel, and for each positive sample, preliminary diagnostic data such as the PRA value and intensity value are provided. The preliminary diagnostic data is then reviewed by a user to determine whether complete specificity data of each positive sample is needed. In one embodiment, the complete specificity data is available for purchase on a sample-by-sample basis so that if only a small amount of samples are deemed useful, purchase of the complete specificity data for an entire panel of samples is avoided. The specificity data is encrypted until the user decides to purchase it. | 12-03-2009 |

20120005076 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING TRANSACTIONS WITH A PORTABLE COMPUTING DEVICE - A method and system include verifying credentials for gaining access to a transactional controller with the portable computing device. The transactional controller may receive a merchant identifier corresponding to a merchant and then it may compare the merchant identifier against loyalty account data stored in a database. The transactional controller may also receive product scan data and compare the product scan data against one of offer data and coupon data in a database. After these comparisons, any matches of product scan data to offer data or coupon data may be sent to the PCD and the POS controller. Similarly, any matches of the merchant identifier to loyalty account data may be transmitted to the POS controller. During or after the purchase transaction, a message may be generated by the transaction controller which lists one or more preferred payment options that may be selected using the PCD to complete a purchase. | 01-05-2012 |
20120296725 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING TRANSACTIONS WITH A PORTABLE COMPUTING DEVICE - A method and system include verifying credentials for gaining access to a central mobile payment controller using the portable computing device (“PCD”). The central mobile payment controller may receive a merchant identifier corresponding to a merchant and then it may compare the merchant identifier against loyalty account data stored in a database. The central controller may also receive product scan data and compare the product scan data against one of offer data and coupon data in a database. After these comparisons, any matches of product scan data to offer data or coupon data may be sent to the PCD and an electronic cash register (“ECR”). Similarly, any matches of the merchant identifier to loyalty account data may be transmitted to the PCD and ECR. During or after the purchase transaction, a message may be generated by the central mobile payment controller which lists one or more preferred payment options. | 11-22-2012 |
20120296726 | System and Method For Managing Transactions With A Portable Computing Device - A method and system include verifying credentials for gaining access to a central mobile payment controller using the portable computing device (“PCD”). The central mobile payment controller may receive a merchant identifier corresponding to a merchant and then it may compare the merchant identifier against loyalty account data stored in a database. The central mobile payment controller through a tender steering module may determine if a profile of the portable computing device is associated with a merchant branded payment account and/or with a merchant branded stored value account. The central mobile payment controller may produce a message that lists one or more preferred payment options in a ranked fashion that may favor a merchant based on interchange rates. | 11-22-2012 |
20140222546 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING TRANSACTIONS WITH A PORTABLE COMPUTING DEVICE - A method and system include verifying credentials for gaming access to a transactional controller with the portable computing device. The transactional controller may receive a merchant identifier corresponding to a merchant and then it may compare the merchant identifier against loyalty account data stored in a database. The transactional controller may also receive product scan data and compare the product scan data against one of offer data and coupon data in a database. After these comparisons, any matches of product scan data, to offer data or coupon data may be sent to the PCD and the POS controller. Similarly, any matches of the merchant identifier to loyalty account data may be transmitted to the POS controller. During or after the purchase transaction, a message may be generated by the transaction, controller which lists one or more preferred payment options that may be selected using the PCD to complete a purchase. | 08-07-2014 |

20130181045 | System and Method For Providing A Personalized Shopping Experience and Personalized Pricing of Products and Services With A Portable Computing Device - A system and method for providing a personalized shopping experience with a portable computing device (“PCD”) are described. The system and method may include checking-in PCD consumers upon entering an establishment of a merchant. The checking-in of the PCD consumer may include verifying credentials for gaining access to a central mobile payment controller and receiving a merchant identifier corresponding to a merchant from a computer communications network. Next, a scan of a machine-readable code associated with at least one of a good and a service may be received. Information associated with the machine-readable code may be retrieved from a database. Subsequently, a personalized price for the at least one good or service may be determined by applying one or more rules. The personalized price may be transmitted over a computer communications network to the portable computing device for display to the PCD consumer. | 07-18-2013 |
