20110199234 | Laser guided parking apparatus and method - This abstract describes an apparatus and method for accurately parking a vehicle within an enclosed space such as a garage. The apparatus uses a compact diode laser and is mounted directly to a ceiling or to a device mounted to the ceiling such as a garage door opener unit. When mounted above the vehicle the bright red laser lines are projected from the laser downward and aligned onto a specific surface for the driver to see such as the top surface of a vehicle dashboard. These lines intersect each other forming an ‘X’ (or ‘cross’). This ‘X’ can be aligned with either an existing dashboard feature or with a ‘target’ which is adhered to the dashboard. When a vehicle enters into a garage the first projected laser line that the driver will see will be the longitudinal line. The longitudinal line enables the driver to adjust the vehicle to the right or left as the vehicle continues into the garage. The second projected laser line appears laterally as the driver pulls forward to a stop. When this lateral line and longitudinal line align with the target or other specific location on the dashboard, the driver stops the vehicle. At this point the driver has positioned his vehicle exactly where he wants it to be within the garage. | 08-18-2011 |

20080292259 | MULTI-COLOR CURVED MULTI-LIGHT GENERATING APPARATUS - In accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, a multi-color curved multi-light generating apparatus comprises a first input component adapted to receive a first input light beam, a second input component adapted to receive a second input light beam, a third input component adapted to receive a third input light beam, and an output component adapted to provide an output light beam. The input components and the output component are joined together to combine the input light beams and form the output light beam. In various implementations, each of the input components and the output component comprise a hollow tube with a polygonal cross-section, such as a hexagonal cross-section. | 11-27-2008 |
20110180110 | DISPENSING PAPER-ROLL CORE SYSTEMS - A paper-roll core that is a soluble, disposable carrier for cleaning and/or disinfecting chemicals. The paper-roll cores are toilet paper roll cores and paper towel roll cores and are rapidly soluble in water and may release cleansers, disinfectants, colors, etc., upon dissolving. Described are: methods of using, manufacturing, advertising, and distributing the paper-roll cores; and methods of advertising and distributing such paper-roll cores to children, who will particularly enjoy the novelty; and methods of modifying existing paper-roll core manufacturing equipment to manufacture soluble cleanser-dispensing paper-roll cores. | 07-28-2011 |
20120055618 | DISPENSING PAPER-ROLL CORE SYSTEMS - A method for making a soluble dispensing paper-roll core having cleansing properties, comprising the steps of: manufacturing flexible strips of water-soluble material; applying at least one cleanser material to at least one portion of said flexible strips of water-soluble material; winding said flexible strips of water-soluble material onto a mandrel; and adhering said flexible strips of water-soluble material together to form a tube. | 03-08-2012 |

20100280727 | ANTISKID CONTROL - COMBINED PAIRED/INDIVIDUAL WHEEL CONTROL LOGIC - An anti-skid brake control system for a multi-wheeled vehicle includes both a paired function and an individual function. The paired function controls the wheels of the vehicle in unison. The individual function controls the wheels of the vehicle individually. A paired/individual logic circuit alternatively activates and deactivates the paired function and the individual function. A method for controlling the skid of a vehicle utilizing a paired function and a individual function is also provided. | 11-04-2010 |
20140145029 | RUDDER BIAS GAIN CHANGER - A bias gain system for aircraft rudder comprises a pair of connector ends receiving an actuation force from a bias actuator. A rudder bar interface is positioned between the connector ends. The interface rotates about the rudder bar as a function of the actuation forces from the bias actuators. A mechanism comprises links and joints between the connector ends and the rudder bar is actuatable between a contracted configuration, in which first moment arms are defined between the connector ends and the rudder bar interface, and an expanded gain configuration, in which second moment arms have a greater dimension than the first moment arms. An actuator is connected to the mechanism to actuate the mechanism to actuate the mechanism independently from the actuation forces from the bias actuators, to move the mechanism between configurations. An aircraft and a method for controlling a torque on a rudder bar of an aircraft are also provided. | 05-29-2014 |
