20110116858Dispensing Toothbrush - The invention provides an electrically driven dispensing device, particularly a toothbrush, utilising replaceable pressurised cartridges, of the bag-in-can type. The toothbrush has a ‘top-loading’ structure in which the cartridge is housed in a recess at the brush end of the toothbrush handle, the recess being accessible by removing the brush head. Other features include an elastomeric valve outlet located on the brush head which can also function as a tooth wiping or polishing blade, and a non-linear drive shaft which enables the brush head to be driven from a motor located at the based end of the handle whilst keeping the handle slim in design. The invention further provides bag-in-can pressurised cartridges for use in such a brush. Advantages of such cartridges include the ability to uniformly dose dentifrice of high solids content, or dentifrice otherwise having a high viscosity. The invention further provides replaceable heads for such a brush.05-19-2011

20100116861Backpack ventilator - A backpack ventilator is described. An embodiment of the present invention includes a portion of mesh fabric that is attached to a conventional fabric and a spring wire perimeter frame is inserted between them. Stretched between various points on the frame is a plurality of springs. The resulting backpack ventilator is secured between a backpack and the wearer. The springs distribute the pressure from the backpack across a wide contact area to increase comfort for the wearer. The backpack ventilator significantly increases airflow ventilation between the wearer and the backpack. As the wearer moves, the frame and springs absorb some of the impact forces that would otherwise be directed towards the wearer. Furthermore, the movement also causes the ventilator to draw air in and out of the mesh fabric thereby reducing heat and sweat buildup.05-13-2010

20100143598ELASTOMERIC COMPOUND - An elastomeric compound comprises 20-80 parts per hundred cross-linkable materials of liquid elastomer. The liquid elastomer has a complex dynamic viscosity less than 5 McP (5,000 N*s/m06-10-2010
20100196612FABRIC TREATMENT FOR REINFORCED ELASTOMERIC ARTICLES - A fabric or cord is treated with an elastomeric compound comprises 20-80 parts per hundred cross-linkable materials of liquid elastomer. The liquid elastomer has a complex dynamic viscosity less than 5 McP (5,000 N*s/m08-05-2010
20100247787ELASTOMERIC COMPOUND - The subject invention reveals a method for preparing a coated fabric which comprises (I) applying a vulcanizable elastomer composition to a layer of fabric, wherein the vulcanizable elastomer composition is made by: (1) mixing a cross-linkable functionalized polyethylene with at least one cross-linkable liquid elastomer to form a non-reactive extrudant, wherein the mixing occurs at a temperature in the range of 10° F. above or below the melt point of the cross-linkable functionalized polyethylene, and wherein the non-reactive extrudant contains from 20 to 80 pph of the cross-linkable liquid elastomer, (2) extruding the non-reactive extrudant, and (3) mixing the extrudent with at least one curing agent, wherein the mixing is sufficient to form the vulcanizable elastomer which has a complex dynamic viscosity of less than 5 McP (5,000 N*s/m2) for at least 2 minutes at a maximum flow temperature; and (II) heating the layer of fabric having the vulcanizable elastomer applied thereto to a temperature which is within the range of 200° F. to 310° F. for at least 2 minutes to produce the coated fabric.09-30-2010

20090102280TRACK SEGMENT WITH EP(D)M RUBBER BASED BACKER AND METHOD OF MAKING - The present invention is directed generally to track segments for track vehicles and, more specifically, to a track segment having an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EP(D)M) rubber based backer, and a method of making. In one embodiment, the track segment includes an EP(D)M rubber based backer including a rubber compound having 100 phr EP(D)M rubber wherein the diene component is optionally present, a peroxide curing agent, and one or more acrylic and/or methacrylic coagents. The track segment further includes a track pad and a track body. The track pad and backer cooperate with the track body to define the track segment for use in a track for a track vehicle. The EP(D)M rubber based compound provides a desirable balance of low heat build-up under heavy dynamic cyclic compression conditions, and also has a desirable load carrying capability, high heat resistance, and good cut/tear strength in hot climates.04-23-2009
20100190914POWER TRANSMISSION PRODUCTS HAVING ENHANCED PROPERTIES - The present invention is directed to the incorporation of functionalized polyethylenes, in amount of about 1% to 95% by weight based upon the weight of the total crosslinkable material, into ethylene alpha olefin elastomers, such as EPDM elastomer compositions, which are crosslinked by peroxides, which results in improved properties, such as hardness and modulus of elongation, and can result in improved higher abrasion resistance, wear resistance, coefficient of friction, tensile strength, and other properties through a broad temperature range, which are beneficial to power transmission products, such as power transmission belts.07-29-2010
20110126964FABRIC ADHESION IMPROVEMENT FOR EPDM BASED LOW COST TIMING BELT - The present invention is directed to timing belts having improved fabric adhesion to the tooth facing which can be achieved by the use of a combination of a RFL treated fabric and an EPDM body provided the RFL treatment or the body include ZDA or the RF latex is an X-HNBR latex.06-02-2011
