20090265050AIRCRAFT PILOT KNEEBOARD WITH MILITARY MOVING MAP AND BROWNOUT/OBSCURED LANDING SYSTEM - An aircraft pilot kneeboard is provided including a bottom member having an inner compartment. A top member is connected to the bottom member by a first axle. Flanges extend outwardly from the bottom member. Straps are attached to the flanges. Springs are located in the flanges for holding writing instruments. The springs have turns distanced less than a diameter of the writing instruments. Clamps are located at lower and upper edges of the top member. A tiltable surface is connected to an upper surface of the second clamp by a second axle. The second axle extends widthwise across the kneeboard. The kneeboard further includes a light emitting diode for lighting a top surface of the top member. The kneeboard further includes an interactive screen attached to the tiltable surface for providing a military moving map and a brownout/obscured landing system.10-22-2009

20110029064FLEXIBLE STENT - A flexible stent structure includes a plurality of axially spaced strut portions defining generally tubular axial segments of the stent and constructed to be radially expandable. A helical portion is interposed axially between two strut portions and has a plurality of helical elements connected between circumferentially spaced locations on the two strut portions. The helical elements extend helically between those locations and the length of a helical element is sufficient so that, when the stent is in a radially expanded state, it can simultaneously withstand repeated axial compression or expansion and bending.02-03-2011

20090036976FLEXIBLE STENT - The stent of the present invention combines a helical strut band interconnected by coil elements. This structure provides a combination of attributes that are desirable in a stent, such as, for example, substantial flexibility, stability in supporting a vessel lumen, cell size and radial strength. The structure of the stent of the present invention provides a predetermined geometric relationship between the helical strut band and interconnected coil elements in order to maintain connectivity at any diameter size state of the stent.02-05-2009
20100094394RECONSTRAINABLE STENT DELIVERY SYSTEM - The stent of the present invention combines a helical strut band interconnected by coil elements. This structure provides a combination of attributes that are desirable in a stent, such as, for example, substantial flexibility, stability in supporting a vessel lumen, cell size and radial strength. The structure of the stent of the present invention provides a predetermined geometric relationship between the helical strut band and interconnected coil.04-15-2010
20100286760FLEXIBLE DEVICES - A self expanding flexible or balloon expandable flexible device includes a helical strut member helically wound about an axis of the stent. The helical strut member comprises a plurality of helical strut elements. A plurality of individual helical elements are helically wound about the axis of the device in the same direction of the helical strut member with the helical elements extending between and interconnecting points on subsequent windings of the helical strut member. The device can be a flow diverter, anchor, revascularization device or filter. A self expanding flexible bifurcation device can include at least one leg. The at least one leg comprising the helical strut member and the plurality of individual helical elements helically wound about the axis of the device in the same direction of the helical strut member with the helical elements extending between and interconnecting points on subsequent windings of the helical strut member.11-11-2010

20090007127SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING DATA ANALYSIS - There is provided an adaptive semi-synchronous parallel processing system and method, which may be adapted to various data analysis applications such as flow cytometry systems. By identifying the relationship and memory dependencies between tasks that are necessary to complete an analysis, it is possible to significantly reduce the analysis processing time by selectively executing tasks after careful assignment of tasks to one or more processor queues, where the queue assignment is based on an optimal execution strategy. Further strategies are disclosed to address optimal processing once a task undergoes computation by a computational element in a multiprocessor system. Also disclosed is a technique to perform fluorescence compensation to correct spectral overlap between different detectors in a flow cytometry system due to emission characteristics of various fluorescent dyes.01-01-2009
