20120085659 | PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR THE ELECTROLYSIS OF AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF HYDROGEN CHLORIDE OR ALKALI CHLORIDE IN AN ELECTROLYTIC CELL - In a process for chlorine-alkali electrolysis, use is made of an oxygen depletion cathode. The process is run with a high excess of oxygen. The oxygen needed for this is provided for a device of the gas separation, for example a VPSA plant or an air fractionation plant. The large quantities of oxygen produced lead to considerable costs of the process. According to the invention, the oxygen-rich atmosphere remaining after passing through the process is fed back into the device for gas separation as input gas. The device the gas separation is therefore operated with an oxygen-rich input gas and therefore produces a larger quantity of oxygen-rich gas, which in turn is fed to the oxygen depletion cathode. As a result of the circulation of the gas, the economy of the overall process is increased considerably. | 04-12-2012 |

20140259437 | WELDER MULTI-TOOL - A welder multi-tool is provided including a sleeve having a first leg portion, a second leg portion, and a bridge portion interconnecting the first leg portion and the second leg portion. The sleeve extends along a central axis passing through the bridge portion and defines a space between the leg portions. A single axle is attached to the sleeve and spans, along an axis, the space defined between the leg portions. The axis of the axle does not intersect the central axis of the sleeve. The welder multi-tool further includes a plurality of tools rotatably attached to the axle. Each tool axis does not intersect the axis of the axle. The plurality of tools includes a fillet gauge tool and a thickness gauge tool. A further example of the welder multi-tool includes a fillet gauge tool, a thickness gauge tool, a soap stone, and a welding nozzle cleaner. | 09-18-2014 |
20150047127 | WELDING PLIERS MULTI-TOOL - The invention described herein generally relates to a pliers welding multi-tool including welding pliers and a plurality of welding tools that can be stowed in one or both handles of the pliers welding multi-tool. The pliers welding multi-tool handles can include rotating, sliding, or other interfaces to store or take out the pliers or other tools. Other tools integrated in the pliers portion or stored within the handles can include a welding fillet gauge, a welding thickness gauge, a welding tip remover, a welding nozzle remover, a bevel-angle tool, a root gap gauge, a plate and rod gauge, and others. | 02-19-2015 |

20140363045 | PRECIPITATION REMOVAL FOR VISION-BASED PARKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS - Methods and systems receive a series of images and compare at least two of the images in the series of images to locate items that are in different positions to identify moving items. Such methods and systems further calculate a measure of the moving items within the series of images. Additionally, such methods and systems perform a continuously variable image correction to remove the moving items from the images to produce a series of corrected images. This “continuously variable image correction” increases the amount of image correction for a relatively higher measure of the moving items and decreases the amount of image correction for a relatively lower measure of the moving items, and does so continuously as the measure of the moving items changes within the series of images. | 12-11-2014 |
20140376769 | METHOD FOR DETECTING LARGE SIZE AND PASSENGER VEHICLES FROM FIXED CAMERAS - A method for detecting parking occupancy includes receiving video data from a sequence of frames taken from an associated image capture device monitoring a parking area. The method includes determining at least one candidate region in the parking area. The method includes comparing a size of the candidate region to a size threshold. In response to size of the candidate region meeting and exceeding the size threshold, the method includes determining whether the candidate region includes one of at least one object and no objects. The method includes classifying at least one object in the candidate region as belonging to one of at least two vehicle-types. The method further includes providing vehicle occupancy information to a user. | 12-25-2014 |
