20080294309Autonomous Agriculture Platform Guidance System - A guidance system for an agriculture platform that is capable of making decisions concerning the platforms direction and velocity regarding the pathway the platform is moving along as well as obstacles in the path of the platform, is provided. The autonomous agricultural platform guidance system and method will make it possible for small scale farming to take up automated mechanical farming practices which are currently only practical for large scale farming thus improving land utilization efficiency while lowering manpower costs dramatically.11-27-2008

20090067293TAMPER RESISTANT HOURMETER FOR MOWER - A tamper resistant hourmeter is provided for an engine powered lawn mower. The hourmeter has a first pin connected to a positive voltage from a battery through a key actuated switch, a second pin to ground, a third pin to a magneto ignition, and a fourth pin to a fuel shutoff solenoid. The tamper resistant hourmeter connects the positive voltage from the battery to the fuel shutoff solenoid. The fuel shutoff solenoid opens a fuel line to the engine only if the key actuated switch is in either of the run or start positions.03-12-2009

20090204762Self Test Apparatus for Identifying Partially Defective Memory - A computing system is provided which includes a processor having a cache memory. The cache memory includes a plurality of independently configurable subdivisions, each subdivision including a memory array. A service element (SE) of the computing system is operable to cause a built-in-self-test (BIST) to be executed to test the cache memory, the BIST being operable to determine whether any of the subdivisions is defective. When it is determined that one of the subdivisions of the cache memory determined defective by the BIST is non-repairable, the SE logically deletes the defective subdivision from the system configuration, and the SE is operable to permit the processor to operate without the logically deleted subdivision. The SE is further operable to determine that the processor is defective when a number of the defective subdivisions exceeds a threshold.08-13-2009

20110055210Robust Adaptive Data Clustering in Evolving Environments - A computer-implemented method for automated data clustering and analysis. A computer takes a database having multiple entries and transforms the entries in the database into a set of intrinsic attributes for each entry. The computer then receives data defining one or more clustering trials to be run on the attributes from the entries in the database, each clustering trial being defined by a set of relevant intrinsic and extrinsic attributes. The computer automatically identifies the most significant intrinsic and/or extrinsic attributes of the entries being clustered for each clustering trial, and runs a clustering script to cluster the attributes in accordance with the significant attributes. The computer forms hierarchical linkages of the profiles and automatically calculates the cophenetic correlation coefficient for the linkages in each clustering trial. The invention then automatically calculates linkage threshold values for the linkages in each trial, creates cluster groups based on the threshold values, and outputs dendrograms and maps showing the results.03-03-2011

20090047828CABLE JUNCTION BOX WITH PROVISION FOR SERVICE LOOPS - A cable junction box has a curved shape to at least part of its enclosure allowing for coiling of extra cable length into a desired service loop within the enclosure. The cable junction box has a cover with a mud ring integrated with a wall plate bracket to allow for interfacing with a wall and has a cable input to receive cabling into the enclosure. Attachment plates are located on the periphery of the enclosure to be selectively used to attach the cable junction box to a mounting bracket coupled to a wall stud. The attachment plates allow for flexibility in positioning of the cable junction box to be attached to the wall stud. The enclosure has connection locations for the front cover and other connection locations for the cable inlet to allow for further flexibility in positioning of the front cover and the cable inlet.02-19-2009
20100096179COMMUNICATION CABLING WITH SHIELDING SEPARATOR AND DISCONTINUOUS CABLE SHIELD - A communications cable having a plurality of twisted wire pairs each having a substantially uniform twist rate along the cable. An elongated shielding separator is positioned between the twisted wire pairs and physically separates them from one another. The shielding separator has a plurality of electrically non-conductive separator sections positioned between the twisted wire pairs and a plurality of electrically conductive separator sections arranged in an alternating pattern with the non-conductive separator sections along the shielding separator. Each of the conductive separator sections has one of a predetermined number of section lengths and is arranged along the shielding separator such that the conductive separator sections are substantially aperiodic with the twist rates of the twisted wire pairs. Optionally, the cable includes a continuous or discontinuous outer cable shielding system enclosing the discontinuous shielding separator and the plurality of twisted wire pairs.04-22-2010
