20100095666Buoyancy engine - FES was created to protect Earth's atmosphere by improving efficiency of electricity facilities and enabling non-electricity producing reservoirs contribution to electrical demands! FES is an efficient pneumatic torque/rpm drive joinable with Geothermal, Hydro, Solar, Wind or other electricity generation systems can potentially increase their efficiency. FES Alpha prototype was tested by Prof. Tennyson Phd. and Hatten M. E. (BSU) in 2008. Dr. R. Reiman (BSU) and Prof. R. Adrian (M.A./E @ ASU) were consulted regarding the fuel conversion efficiency data. The FES Alpha prototype buoyant air fuel input lb/sec. value was 3.639792 lb/sec. The FES system's output shaft @ 1.66 rp/sec. was opposed by 10.91 lb/sec. This is a 299% energy efficiency conversion. It's achieved by replenishing stored and recycled energy within the FES like the trickle charge to a battery. The FES was re-engineered for this patent eliminating inertial losses and could have input/output efficiency ratios as high as 1:6 or more.04-22-2010

20090006244System and Method for Performing Automatic Spread Trading - The present embodiments are provided to facilitate the automatic trading of spreads in a fast and accurate manner. One or more market data feeds that contain market information for tradeable objects are received at an exchange. A spread data feed is generated in response to the market data feeds and from one or more spread setting parameters, which can be entered by a user. The spread data feed is preferably displayed in a spread window as bid and ask quantities associated with an axis or scale of prices. The user can enter orders in the spread window and the legs will be automatically worked to achieve, or attempt to achieve, the spread. In addition, other tools disclosed herein may be utilized to assist the user in making such trades.01-01-2009
20100030684Click Based Trading with Intuitive Grid Display of Market Depth and Price Consolidation - A method and system for reducing the time it takes for a trader to place a trade when electronically trading on an exchange, thus increasing the likelihood that the trader will have orders filled at desirable prices and quantities. The “Mercury” display and trading method of the present invention ensure fast and accurate execution of trades by displaying market depth on a vertical or horizontal plane, which fluctuates logically up or down, left or right across the plane as the market prices fluctuate. This allows the trader to trade quickly and efficiently. The price consolidation feature of the present invention, as described herein, enables a trader to consolidate a number of prices in order to condense the display. Such action allows a trader to view a greater range of prices and a greater number of orders in the market at any given time. By consolidating prices, and therefore orders, a trader reduces the risk of a favorable order scrolling from the screen prior to filling a bid or ask on that order at a favorable price.02-04-2010
20100138335Trading Tools for Electronic Trading - Tools for trading and monitoring a commodity on an electronic exchange using a graphical user interface and a user input device. 20100280938System and Method for Money Management in Electronic Trading Environment - A system and method for money management in an electronic trading environment are presented. According to one embodiment, a trader may configure a plurality of filters, each including at least one filter criteria and filter condition. When a money management module detects a new order, the money management module intercepts the order and determines if the order matches one or more predefined filters. If the order matches one or more filters then conditions associated with the applicable filter(s) are applied to the order. The application of one or more conditions to an order may result in sending a modified order, preventing the order from reaching the exchange, or sending order to the exchange without any modifications.11-04-2010

20090189983SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PATTERN BASED THRESHOLDING APPLIED TO VIDEO SURVEILLANCE MONITORING - A system, method, and program product is provided that configures video handlers pertaining to a dependent individual. Configuring includes setting alert thresholds. Visual locations are configured. Visual images that pertain to caregivers of the dependent individual are configured. Video streams are received from video sources. Video streams are compared to configured locations to classify the dependent individual's location. Video stream is analyzed to determine whether the dependent individual is alone or with others. If with others, a list of known persons is determined by comparing the video streams with the configured visual images. The configured video handlers are initiated based on the inputs of the location and the people present with the dependent individual. Video handlers trigger alerts when thresholds are reached. Alerts include performing actions to protect the dependent individual from harm.07-30-2009
20100114963Web Browsing configuration and Collaboratively Filtered Web Sites For Personal productivity - Multiple users generate separate websites, which are compiled into an approved list of websites for an organization. This list of approved websites is saved in a database location. When a user desires to access the communication network, this method of this invention detects and intercepts the access attempt and determines whether the website identified in the access attempt is accessible by the particular user. The determination of whether the desired website is accessible to the user will depend on certain defined criteria such as time of workday or length of a connection session of the user with the communication network.05-06-2010
20100174419Consumer Electronic Usage Monitoring and Management - A mechanism for managing energy consumption of electrical devices within a home or building. Energy usage data is collected for a first electrical outlet connected to an unidentified electrical device in a facility. A pattern of energy usage is determined from the energy usage data collected at the first electrical outlet. The pattern of energy usage of the first electrical outlet is then compared against known patterns of energy usage for one or more other electrical outlets. Responsive to identifying a match between the pattern of energy usage of the energy usage data collected at the first electrical outlet and a known pattern of energy usage of a second electrical outlet in the one or more other electrical outlets, the electrical device connected to the first electrical outlet is identified as the same electrical device that is associated with the known pattern of energy usage of the second electrical outlet.07-08-2010
