20120058363COATED LIGHTWEIGHT METAL DISK - The invention relates to a coated lightweight metal disk, in particular a brake disk, comprising a support disk made of a thermally resistant lightweight metal alloy, and a heat-insulating friction layer formed from a metal alloy that includes nanocrystals. The friction layer can be applied directly to the support disk without adding an insulating intermediate layer. Because of the thermally insulating effect of the friction layer, only a moderate amount of heat is transferred to the support disk.03-08-2012

20090210784ACTIVE DATA PUSH DELIVERY - A system that pushes active data to a client receives a first request for a page that includes active data from the client. The active data includes a component and a corresponding model for a data source of the component. The system determines if the model is active and if so, instantiates an encoder that corresponds to the component. The system queries the model for the active data and renders a user interface representation of the data. The system then returns a response to the request with the user interface representation.08-20-2009
20120017112System and method for provisioning and running a cross-cloud test grid - An automated method for provisioning a grid used to run a load test on a target website includes sending one or more requests in a multi-threaded manner to at least one cloud provider, the one or more requests for an allocation of N load server instances and M result server instances which comprise the grid. Requests received back from the cloud provider are also handled in a multi-threaded manner; any errors occurring during the allocation being corrected automatically. The N load server instances and the M result server instances are then verified to be operational and correctly running software deployed to provide defined test services. Errors identified during the verification are automatically corrected either by attempting to restart a failed instance or allocating a different instance.01-19-2012
20120017156Real-Time, multi-tier load test results aggregation - A method for real-time analysis of results from a load test performed on a target website includes periodically computing first-level aggregated test results within each of a plurality of load server instances that generate a load on the target website. The first-level aggregated test results are computed from data received by each of the load server instances from the target website every first time interval. The first-level aggregated test results are then periodically sent from each of the load server instances to an associated one of a plurality of analytic server instances every second time interval. The first-level aggregated test results are aggregated by each of the analytic server instances to produce second-level aggregated test results, which test results may then further aggregated to produce third-level aggregated test results at a data storage instance in real-time.01-19-2012
20120017165Apparatus and method for combining / correlating data sets - A processor-implemented method includes providing an analytic dashboard with a graphical user interface (GUI) that outputs aggregated results streaming in real-time of a load test performed on a target website. Responsive to input of a user on the GUI, the input comprising selection of a source chart and a target chart, a single chart is automatically generated that represents either a combination or a statistical correlation of the source and target charts. The single chart has a left y-axis and an x-axis. The combination or the statistical correlation of the single chart changing in real-time as the load test progresses. A visual representation of the single chart is then produced on the analytic dashboard.01-19-2012

20090198787DATA STREAMING TO MULTIPLE BROWSER WINDOWS - A client computer has a master window and at least one slave window. The client computer receives streaming data at the master window. The master window includes a list of slave windows and the data includes an envelope that has a destination window identifier. The master window determines a destination window that corresponds to the window identifier. The master window dispatches the data to a slave window if the destination window is not the master window. Otherwise, the master window streams the data to the destination within the master window.08-06-2009

20080249347Waste Stabilization and Packaging System for Fissile Isotope-Laden Wastes - A method for shredding, blending, and packaging wastes so that the shipment of waste is acceptable for transportation and disposal. Containerized wastes, laden with fissile isotopes, such as that from sodium fluoride traps and granulated carbon collection assemblies, if not already conditioned, are conditioned for blending by shredding them to particle size and then blending the particles with a grout mix either in a reusable mixing vessel or in a disposable mixing vessel. The blend of waste and grout is selected to meet governmental and disposal site requirements for an acceptable waste shipment. If blended in a reusable vessel, the blended waste is transferred to shipping containers. The shipping containers are placed in shielded shipping casks for transportation to a disposal facility. The grout mix is a combination of grout and neutron poisons such as borated sand to prevent criticality.10-09-2008
