20080211625METHOD FOR TEMPORARILY INHIBITING, WHEN IT HAS BEEN DETECTED INSIDE A LOCKED VEHICLE, A PORTABLE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT KNOWN AS A TAG BELONGING TO A KEYLESS ENTRY DEVICE - A method for temporarily inhibiting, when it is detected inside a locked vehicle, a portable remote control unit, known as a tag, of a keyless entry device designed to implement access authorization procedures to allow access to the vehicle, these including an initial identification procedure which includes causing a central processing unit to periodically transmit a data frame incorporating a preamble consisting of a predefined wake-up code that can be identified by the tag. The inhibition method include defining a first wake-up code at least intended for the procedure of temporarily inhibiting the tags, and a second wake-up code specifically intended for the procedure of identifying the tags, and in setting up temporary inhibition procedures which consist in causing a specific data frame incorporating, in its preamble, the first wake-up code and designed to deactivate the recognition, by each target tag, of the second wake-up code, to be transmitted.09-04-2008

20110251752VEHICLE TELEMETRY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING AND TRAINING DRIVERS - There is described a system and method for establishing a performance of at least one of a vehicle and an operator of the vehicle over a given period. In particular, the method comprises: recording measured vehicle parameters at a continuous rate over a given period, the continuous rate being at least as great as the rate of change of the measured vehicle parameters; calculating criteria using, for each criterion, a selection of the measured vehicle parameters; and outputting the criteria, the criteria being representative of a performance of at least one of the operator and the vehicle over the given period.10-13-2011

20110066943Jukebox with customizable avatar - A digital downloading jukebox system including a mechanism for delivering custom services to a recognized user is provided. For example, information specific to a recognized user may be stored and optionally may include a recognized user avatar representative of the recognized user. The user avatar may be an image, video, and/or animation, which may be displayed on and/or played through the jukebox. The user avatar may be associated with transactions associated with the user. For example, an avatar may be displayed when a playlist of the recognized user is played, when a message is sent, etc. In other examples, the avatar may introduce instances of media by playing an audio and/or video message, and the avatar may sing, dance, etc. while an instance of media is playing.03-17-2011

20100278469BEARING SUPPORT - A bearing support provides a circumferentially-extending structure to substantially transmit a radial bearing load to a housing when a radial deflection/deformation of the circumferentially-extending structure caused by the radial bearing load, is within a predetermined limit. The bearing support provides a direct support link bypassing the circumferentially-extending structure to transmit an over-limit portion of the radial bearing load to the housing when the radial deflection/deformation of the circumferentially-extending structure reaches the predetermined limit.11-04-2010
