20090020232CONTAINMENT EXTENSION AND PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD - A mobile waste processing system and method is disclosed for processing materials in a tank, typically an underground storage tank. A mobile fluid processing module is disposed adjacent to or over the tank, and sealingly connected to the tank through a tank riser. Support equipment, which may include an electric power module, a chiller module, a heating module, and a control and monitor module, are disposed a distance from the processing module, and connected thereto. A pump and optionally a dispersal nozzle are deployed from the processing module into the tank, and effluent is extracted for processing. The processing trailer includes effluent processing equipment such as an evaporator and demister, condenser, vacuum pump, and interim storage tank. The effluent is processed, and at least a portion is removed. Some of the processed effluent may be returned to the tank.01-22-2009

20080302852PROFILE LIFTER FOR A NAILER - A driving tool that includes a frame, a motor assembly and a resilient member. The motor assembly is coupled to the frame and includes an electric motor, a flywheel driven by the electric motor, a pinch roller and a driver disposed between the flywheel and the pinch roller. The pinch roller is selectively movable from a first position to a second position to drive the driver into engagement with the flywheel. The driver is movable between a returned position and an extended position. The resilient member is coupled to the frame and biases the driver away from the flywheel to reduce or eliminate contact between the flywheel and the driver when the flywheel is at rest, the driver is in the returned position and the pinch roller is in the first position. A method for operating a driving tool is also provided.12-11-2008

20120097729POWER TAKE OFF FOR CORDLESS NAILER - A power tool that includes a structure; a flywheel coupled to the structure; a driver that is translatable along a driver axis; and a follower assembly having an actuator and an activation arm assembly. The actuator is coupled to the activation arm assembly. The activation arm assembly is coupled to the structure and includes a pinch roller. Actuation of the actuator causes the pinch roller to translate toward and engage the driver to initiate driving engagement between the driver and the flywheel.04-26-2012

20080281203System and Method for Quasi-Real-Time Ventricular Measurements From M-Mode EchoCardiogram - A method for measuring ventricular dimensions from M-mode echocardiograms, includes providing a digitized M-mode echocardiogram image, running a plurality of local classifiers, where each local classifier trained to detect a landmark on either an end-diastole (ED) line or an end-systole (ES) line in the image, recording all possible landmarks detected by the classifiers, where a search range in an N-dimensional parameter space defined by the landmarks for each dimension is reduced to a union of subsets, where each dimension of the parameter space corresponds a landmark, for each combination of possible landmarks, checking if an order of the landmarks is consistent with a known ordering of the landmarks, and if the order is consistent, running a global detector on each consistent combination of landmarks to find a landmark combination with a highest detection probability as a confirmed landmark detection, where the landmarks are used for measuring ventricular dimensions.11-13-2008
20110227739Multi-Display Bedside Monitoring System - The present specification discloses systems and methods for patient monitoring using a multitude of display regions, at least two of which have the capability to simultaneously display real time patient waveforms and vital statistics as well as provide display for local and remote software applications. In one example, a primary display shows real time patient waveforms and vital statistics while a customizable secondary display shows trends, cumulative data, laboratory and radiology reports, protocols, and similar clinical information. Additionally, the secondary display can launch local and remote applications such as entertainment software, Internet and email programs, patient education software, and video conferencing applications. The dual display allows caregivers to simultaneously view real time patient vitals and aggregated data or therapy protocols, thereby increasing hospital personnel efficiency and improving treatment, while not compromising the display of critical alarms or other data.09-22-2011
