20100166990ROTATIONALLY MOULDED PRODUCTS AND MOULDS - A rotational moulding process replicates a product by conveying fusible materials of one or more compositions during a moulding procedure through an opening into a heated mould rotating in one axis inside an oven. Large products are feasible. A multi-layered product wall is constructed using for example an optionally dyed exterior and foaming granules in a middle layer. A bell-shaped product capable of conversion into a dwelling is made in this manner inside a metal mould, open at one end and slowly rotating about a horizontal axis in an oven.07-01-2010

20090072841Extruded capacitive sensor assembly and detection method - An extruded capacitive sensor assembly includes multiple sense conductors of unequal length disposed in an upper section of a non-conductive jacket, and a ground conductor disposed in a lower section of the jacket adjacent a panel or carrier to which the strip is affixed. A sensor strip with three sense conductors is formed by extruding a non-conductive jacket having first and second sense conductors in the upper section of the jacket, and severing the first sense conductor to create three unequal length sense conductor segments. Electrical termination to the sense and ground conductors can be made at the point where the first sense conductor is severed, or at the end of the sensor strip. In cases where only two sense conductor segments are needed, the third sense conductor segment is removed or simply un-used.03-19-2009

20090082876Cement spacer for acetabular cup - An acetabular cup has a shell having a recess therein, the recess is open to an outer surface of the shell. The recess has an enlarged portion spaced from the shell outer surface with a diameter greater than the diameter of the opening at the surface. An insert is provided for insertion into the recess in the shell outer surface. The insert has a height greater than a depth of the recess and has a solid portion and a bifurcated portion having at least two side openings forming two to four sectors. A base of the sectors formed by bifurcated portion has an outwardly extending flange for insertion into the enlarged portion of the recess.03-26-2009
