20090177420Detection, localization and interpretation of partial discharge - In order to detect, localize and interpret a partial discharge occurring in a partial discharge site along an electrical equipment, two measurement probes and a synchronization probe are installed along the electrical equipment. The measurement probes detect pulses travelling in the electrical equipment while the synchronization probe detects a phase angle in the electrical equipment and is usable for calibration purposes. A control unit receives the signals sensed by the probes and conditions them. Digital processings applied on the conditioned signals, involving their correlation, a time-frequency distribution and a form factor estimation, allows establishing a diagnosis indicating a detection of a partial discharge and its localization along the electrical equipment.07-09-2009

20090119073Heat trace system design - Heat trace system design is disclosed. In some embodiments, pipe system data including data associated with pipe system components is received, and in response to receiving a selection of a pipe system component, data associated with a set of one or more pipe system components including the selected pipe system component is automatically extracted from the received pipe system data. One or more heat trace system components for the set of pipe system components are determined based at least in part on the extracted data.05-07-2009

20090143830MOLDABLE PASTE COMPOSITION - The invention concerns a novel moldable and/or flowable composition for application to a bone defect site to promote new bone growth at the site. The composition includes a therapeutic material and a carrier comprising means for achieving reverse phase characteristics. In one embodiment, the therapeutic material can be a resorbable alloplastic material and the carrier can be a poloxamer. In a specific embodiment, the resorbable alloplastic material is a biphasic material composed of hydroxyapatite and tricalcium phosphate (HA-TCP), and the carrier is poloxamer 407 (Pluronic® F127). The invention further includes methods for using the novel composition.06-04-2009

20120085857PAPER ROLL HOLDER AND TICKET BEZEL FOR A TICKET PRINTER - The present invention discloses a spindle assembly for a ticket printer which permits the paper roll to be changed without removing the spindle assembly from the ticket printer. The spindle assembly consists of two arms mounted on the printer, on the upper portion of each respective arm is mounted a backing plate from which a spindle protrudes. The spindle may be retracted for loading paper by rotating a spindle actuator which is elevated by two ramps mounted thereon. The elevation of the actuator, which is connected to the spindle, retracts the spindle from the backing plate. An anti-theft ticket bezel is also disclosed, which has teeth incorporated into the ceiling within the opening of the bezel, so that if a ticket is pulled from outside the teeth tear the ticket or cuts it into strips, rendering the ticket useless.04-12-2012

20100209582SOLUBLE FOAMING BEVERAGE POWDER - The present invention relates to a composition comprising a mixture of a soluble foamer ingredient and a soluble beverage or foodstuffs ingredient having a retarded solubility. The soluble foamer ingredient upon addition of a liquid induces the formation of or forms a foam this is achieved by an ingredient comprising a matrix and a gas under pressure. The soluble beverage or foodstuffs ingredient, which may be in the form of a powder is prepared in such a way that the solubility is retarded. Upon addition of a liquid the foamer and the beverage or foodstuff are separated before being dissolved resulting in a nice and neat physical separation in two layers, which is best visible if the colour of the foamer and beverage or foodstuffs powder are different. The present invention more specifically relates to a soluble cappuccino powder, which upon reconstitution results in a beverage with a large amount of white foam. The soluble cappuccino powder of the present invention delivers upon reconstitution a white foam comparable in colour and height and texture to a real cappuccino froth made up by steaming fresh milk and spooning the foam on top of a freshly extracted espresso.08-19-2010
