Patent application numberDescriptionPublished
20100136599METHODS AND PRODUCTS RELATED TO THE IMPROVED ANALYSIS OF CARBOHYDRATES - The invention relates, in part, to the improved analysis of carbohydrates. In particular, the invention relates to the analysis of carbohydrates, such as N-glycans and O-glycans found on proteins. Improved methods, therefore, for the study of glycosylation patterns on cells, tissue and body fluids are also provided. Information regarding the analysis of glycans, such as the glycosylation patterns on cells, tissues and in body fluids, can be used in diagnostic and treatment methods as well as for facilitating the study of the effects of glycosylation/altered glycosylation on protein function. Such methods are also provided. Methods are also provided to assess protein production processes, to assess the purity of proteins produced, and to select proteins with the desired glycosylation.06-03-2010
20110045496GAL ALPHA 1-3GAL-CONTAINING N-GLYCANS IN GLYCOPROTEIN PRODUCTS DERIVED FROM CHO CELLS - The present invention provides methods of evaluating CHO cells.02-24-2011

20100144553METHODS AND PRODUCTS RELATED TO THE IMPROVED ANALYSIS OF CARBOHYDRATES - The invention relates, in part, to the improved analysis of carbohydrates. In particular, the invention relates to the analysis of carbohydrates, such as N-glycans and O-glycans found on proteins and saccharides attached to lipids. Improved methods, therefore, for the study of glycosylation patterns on cells, tissue and body fluids are also provided. Information from the analysis of glycans, such as the glycosylation patterns on cells, tissues and in body fluids, can be used in diagnostic and treatment methods as well as for facilitating the study of the effects of glycosylation/altered glycosylation. Such methods are also provided. Methods are further provided to assess production processes, to assess the purity of samples containing glycoconjugates, and to select glycoconjugates with the desired glycosylation.06-10-2010
20100248260GLYCOSAMINOGLYCAN-COATED PARTICLES AND USES THEREOF - The present invention is directed to metallic particles coated with glycosaminoglycans and methods for preparing them. Methods of using such glycosaminoglycan-coated metallic particles in biomedical and other applications are also disclosed. In certain embodiments, methods for assaying glycosaminoglycan-degrading activity in biological fluids, test samples, and/or therapeutic formulations using the glycosaminoglycan-coated particles are provided. Such methods may be used, for example, in diagnostic tests for diseases such as cancer, inflammatory diseases, or autoimmune diseases and to test activity of enzymes being developed as therapeutics.09-30-2010

20090110633Nanocells for Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases and Disorders - The present invention relates to novel nanocell compositions and their use in imaging, diagnostic and treatment methods. In one embodiment, nanocells tailored for imaging methods comprise a nanocore surrounded by a lipid matrix, and are modified to contain a radionuclide core or a nanocore with an emission spectra. The nanocells may be size restricted such as being greater than about 60 nm so that they selectively extravasate at sites of angiogenesis (e.g. tumor) and do not pass through normal vasculature or enter non-tumor bearing tissue. In this way, angiogenic sites can be both detected and treated. In another embodiment, nanocells are tailored for various treatment methods, including the treatment of brain cancer, asthma, Grave's Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, and Pulmonary Fibrosis.04-30-2009
20100113294DEFINED GLYCOPROTEIN PRODUCTS AND RELATED METHODS - The invention provides methods, databases and systems for making glycoprotein products having defined properties.05-06-2010
