20080270283ELECTRONIC TRADING DATA INTEGRATION AND PROTECTION SYSTEM - A trading system is disclosed which allows an exchange to protect market data from electronic reproduction by traders but allows the traders to use the market data (such as the last traded price, current resting bids and offers) to assist in making the trades. The system includes an exchange server having a database having market data relating to commodities traded over the exchange. A group of trader computers each having a display are coupled to the exchange server. The trader computers have a trader interface run on the computer allowing each trader to place and accept orders for commodities traded over the exchange. The trader interface is capable of receiving market data from the exchange server. An external data source such as an Excel spreadsheet is stored on the trader computer having at least one data field. A trader module is coupled to the trader interface and external data source. The trader module reads market data from the trader interface and the at least one data field of the external data source. The trader module displays the market data and the one data field on the display. The displayed data cannot be exported to the external data source but can be used to make trading decisions and manage orders.10-30-2008

20080292074AUTOMATIC ROUTING OF COMMUNICATIONS TO USER ENDPOINTS - A system may receive configuration information relating to forwarding of communications in a network from a first endpoint to other endpoints. Presence information may also be received for the endpoints. The presence information may include proximity information indicating whether pairs of the endpoints are in physical proximity to one another. The system may forward communications destined for a first of the plurality of endpoints to a second of the plurality of endpoints based on the configuration information and the presence information.11-27-2008
20100008356METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PRESENCE-BASED TELEPHONY COMMUNICATIONS - A system and method can enable a user of a communications network, such as a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), wireless and/or voice over IP network to participate in Presence Availability Management (PAM) and Instant Messaging (IM) activities of a PAM/IM network. In response to phone network triggers, a phone network Service Control Point (SCP) can generate requests to a web server. The web server can translate the requests to presence information that can be forwarded to presence user agents for participants of the PAM/IM network. The presence user agents can present the user's presence information to participants having the user on their “buddy list”. In turn, the presence user agent for the user can forward the presence information for participants on the user's “buddy list” to a media server that can communicate the information to the user through Automatic Speech Recognition, Text to Speech and/or Dual Tone MultiFrequency technology01-14-2010
20110064205EMERGENCY TEXT COMMUNICATIONS - A system includes one or more devices connected to or within one of a group of emergency services networks. The one or more devices may generate a text message that includes information identifying a user device, information identifying a geographic location of the user device, and information identifying a particular emergency services network of the group of emergency services networks; establish, based on the text message, a text-based communication session between the user device and a call taker device within the particular emergency services network; store session information regarding the text-based communication session; receive a subsequent text message; and transmit the subsequent text message to the call taker device based on the session information.03-17-2011
20110173672TELEVISION INTEGRATED CHAT AND PRESENCE SYSTEMS AND METHODS - An enhanced television system which enables users to communicate using a television, both via messaging and telephone. Users or the system may create a buddy list. Users may send and receive program information to and from each other, and change programs based on received information. The system may maintain information regarding a user's presence on the system, availability for messaging, and television viewing.07-14-2011

20100297986PRESENCE LITE - A service is provided to cell phone subscribers to improve reachability. A home location register node maintains state information on a subscriber's cell phone status. Cell phone status information includes: off; on, registered and available to receive calls; on, registered but busy participating in an ongoing call; on, registered but temporarily unavailable; and on, registered but unattended. Temporarily unavailable is further qualified: poor reception location, high interference, cell throughput saturation, intentional user disposition. Long term unavailability may also be inferred and indicated depending on the device and/or system status. When a call to a subscriber's cell phone cannot be completed or is not answered, the service annunciates the reason to the calling party. The calling party can then make a more informed decision as to when to reattempt the call and is more likely to reattempt the call. The service is provided in conjunction with call forwarding to landlines phones and/or voicemail.11-25-2010
