| 20080230109 | Solar Cell Module and Method For Its Production - A solar cell module and a method for the production thereof, are used in particular in the field of concentrating solar technology. The solar cell module has a large number of two-dimensionally disposed solar cells. These solar cells are applied on a substrate which is coated with a metal layer on the surface orientated towards the solar cells. The metal layer is thereby structured in such a manner that it is subdivided into individual two-dimensional portions which are assigned respectively to one solar cell. The metal layer in each of the portions has two regions which are electrically insulated from each other, the first region extending under the assigned solar cell and contacting the latter in an electrically conductive manner. The second region is likewise connected to the other electrical contact of the solar cell. In order to produce a parallel and series circuit of the individual solar cells, the individual portions of the metal layer are now connected to each other in a suitable manner by means of connecting portions which, for their part, are part of the metal layer. | 09-25-2008 |

| 20090173905 | VACUUM VALVE WITH A SEALING RING - A vacuum valve with a seating ring having a generally rectangular cross section. With respect to rectangular edges lying diametrically opposite one another, radii of curvature are arranged in these edges, which radii of curvature come into sealing engagement with sealing seats arranged lying opposite one another on the housing side and the disk side. The sealing surfaces on the sealing seats have approximately the same cone angle. The sealing ring is easy to produce, has a small rolling path and there is no danger of damage to the valve seats by the sealing ring. | 07-09-2009 |

| 20100296138 | APPARATUS FOR DETECTING THE CONTENT OF A BOOK - In a device for detecting the contents of a book or of sheets bound in the manner of a book, with a cradle with two support surfaces arranged next to each other at an obtuse angle, a book can be inserted in the opened state, the book lying facing upwards with the opened pages. The relative positions of the support surfaces in relation to one another can be set, namely, at least in a direction that is parallel to the plane of the support surface and at right angles to the bifurcation. In addition, the device has a camera system with at least two camera units, which are each positioned above the cradle for recording one of the opened pages of a book being held in the cradle, and a page-turning device for turning the pages of a book being held in the cradle, wherein the cradle or the support surface can be moved in relation to the camera system in an essentially vertical position. | 11-25-2010 |
