20090073308Apparatuses and Methods for a Camera Head Enclosure Device for Facilitating Improved Imaging - A camera head enclosure apparatus configured to allow the interchangeability of photo-electric pixel arrays used in various applications is provided. A personality plate configured to receive and secure a photo-electric pixel array of a particular configuration provided on a chip is provided. The exemplary embodiments allow a user to interchange photo-electric pixel arrays, and personality plates, while using the same camera head enclosure, thus enabling the camera head enclosure to be adapted to a different photo-electric pixel array eliminating the need to custom make camera head enclosures for each application. The camera head enclosure apparatus may include carriers configured to hold circuit boards associated with the particular photo-electric pixel array selected. Additionally or alternatively, the camera head enclosure apparatus may include an aperture adjustment assembly permitting alignment of the camera aperture with the photo-electric pixel array providing the capability to accommodate different types, sizes, and configurations of photo-electric pixel arrays.03-19-2009

20100319986MODULAR VENTED CIRCUIT BOARD ENCLOSURE - A modular vented circuit board enclosure for housing circuit boards, computer circuitry, or other devices is disclosed. The modular enclosure can be formed by coupling together various components, such as one or more (i) side components, (ii) corner components, and (iii) face components. The modular enclosure can be easy to manufacture and be configured for a wide variety of applications, such as customizing a size and/or number of devices to be housed. For example, circuit boards can be added or removed from the enclosure without the need to cut portions of a standard rack mount. One or more components of the modular vented circuit board can be added to permit entry of more circuit boards into the enclosure.12-23-2010

20090027556CIRCUIT USED IN DIGITIZING ANALOG VIDEO FROM AN IMAGE PIXEL ARRAY - Disclosed herein is a camera system and camera controller having a modularized design. Camera control functions within the controller are distributed among a number of modules, each module performing a component task of controlling a camera. Individual modules can perform tasks such as generating clock signals, digitizing an analog video signal, and providing multiplexed digital video output. Modules communicate with each other over a common bus sufficient to carry the signals necessary to control the camera. The system implements a RAM-based digital sequencer that provides the capability of loading bit patterns into memory and using these patterns to generate waveforms for clocking a CCD. Clock and readout sequences can be composed in a high level language, compiled and uploaded into the controller. Adjustable clamp and sample signal delays used in digitizing an analog video signal provide the capability to optimize the performance of the system in a given application.01-29-2009
