20100117261Method of making a plastic bench top - The method of making a plastic bench top is a method for manufacturing bench tops having a U-shaped channel formed by flanges depending from opposite sides of an elongated planar member. The bench top is mounted on pedestals, legs or the like. In general, the method includes forming a fold line by machining or by heating along the lateral edges of the elongated planar member to define flanges, folding the flanges so that the flanges are orthogonal to the planar member, and welding or fusing the joint, if necessary. Alternatively, discrete flange members may be heated simultaneously with the elongated lateral edges of the planar member, the heating element is withdrawn from between the flange and the planar member, and the flange is butted against the longitudinal edge to form a butt weld.05-13-2010

20110087181External catheter tube - The external catheter tube is a flexible, coiled collection tube that connects a catheter to a urine collection bag. The collection tube has a coiled portion that can readily extend and contract to relieve tension on the catheter. The assembly includes at least on swivel-snap connector. In one embodiment, one end of the connecting tube is connected to the catheter by a by a straight or linear swivel-snap connector, while the opposite end of the tubing is connected to the drainage bag by and elbow or 90 swivel-snap connector. In another embodiment, one end of the connecting tube is molded integrally with the collection tube, while the opposite end of the tubing is connected to the drainage bag by an elbow or 90 swivel-snap connector. In either embodiment, the connecting tube may be configured with the coiled portion extending horizontally or with the coiled portion hanging in a loop.04-14-2011

20090185825SPRING-LOADED WEB CLEANING APPARATUS FOR ELECTROGRAPHIC PRINTER - A cleaning station for removing particulate material from a moving web in an electrographic printer/copier includes a customer-replaceable web-cleaner device with a support bracket/backup shoe assembly. A quick disconnect feature enables the cleaner cover to be de-coupled from the cleaner body to allow the debris to be easily removed with replacing the web-cleaner. The cleaner has a cleaner sump that is spring loaded to force contact of four strategically placed stops in the sump with a stationary back up shoe assembly allowing for higher precision of blade engagement with a transport web or a photoconductor. The web-cleaner has two wiper blades, each having each having a distinguishment such that the distinguishment distinguishes one wiper blade from the other wiper blade when the blades are locked into the cleaner sump by springs, to facilitate material removed from the web. The wiper cleaning blades and the cover assembly are easily replaceable by the operator in the correct order.07-23-2009

20120109579METHOD OF TESTING AND PROVING FUEL EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENTS - A method of testing and proving fuel efficiency improvements includes installing a telematic device in each of a first plurality of vehicles and a second plurality of vehicles. The telematic devices collect baseline fuel consumption data during a first time period and collect test fuel consumption data during a second time period. Between the first and second time periods, at least one operating parameter of the second plurality of vehicles is modified such that the baseline fuel consumption data and the test fuel consumption data can be analyzed to determine any fuel efficiency improvements caused by the modified operating parameter. To ensure reliable and statistically-significant results, each plurality of vehicles may include 15 vehicles and each time period may include 60 days.05-03-2012
