20100114640System and Method of Parallelizing Order-By-Order Planning - A system and method is disclosed for parallelizing order-by-order planning in a supply chain network. The system includes a database configured to store data describing a demand priority sequence, each demand priority sequence comprising at least one demand of an end-item and data describing the supply chain network comprising a plurality of network components, each network component configured to supply one or more items to satisfy demand. The system further includes a server coupled with the database, the server accesses the data describing the demand priority sequence and accesses the data describing the supply chain network. The server further creates mapping tables for each end-item, generates a dependency map for each end-item, generates a list of demand levels, and generates an order plan of end-items for planning in parallel comprising the orders planned for the demands at each demand level.05-06-2010
20100121683System and Method of Scenario Versioning - A system and method is disclosed for scenario management. The system includes a database configured to store data describing a plurality of scenarios, each scenario comprising one or more fields and data describing the supply chain network comprising a plurality of network components, each network component configured to supply one or more items to satisfy demand. The system further includes a server coupled with the database; the server accesses the data describing the plurality of scenarios and accesses the data describing the supply chain network. The server further traverses the one or more fields of the plurality of scenarios until a value is determined and stores the determined value in the database for each of the one or more fields of the plurality of scenarios.05-13-2010
20110106839System and Method for Providing Buffer Inventory Profile in a Discrete Time Supply Chain Planner using a Nested Bucketization Structure - A system and method is disclosed for providing nested bucketization in a supply chain network. The system includes a server coupled with a database and configured to access data describing a time horizon of a specified time interval. The server is further configured to create an on-hand inventory profile which comprises a set of (day, quantity) pairs, stored in a linked list within a data structure involving nested buckets, wherein the on-hand inventory profile points to an empty link list when first created and store the on-hand inventory profile in the database.05-05-2011

20090062425Method for producing a deflation-proof pneumatic tire and tire filling compositions thereof - The present invention is directed to a method for producing a cured tire filling composition and the composition resulting from such a method. The A component has from about 3 to about 30 weight % of a polyisocyanate comprising polymeric toluene diisocyanate (TDI) or diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) with an average functionality of 2 or greater, from about 10 to about 60 weight % of a high molecular weight polyol or blend of polyols having a hydroxyl number in the range of about 20 to about 56, and the balance of a plasticizer. The amount of plasticizer is an amount sufficient to lower the NCO content of the resulting. A component to be less than 10% and is in the range of from about 10 to about 80 weight %. The B component has from 0 to about 30 weight % of the high molecular weight polyol or blend of polyols, from about 70 to about 99 weight % added water, from about 1 to about 8 weight % of a hydrophilic moiety, and from about 0.1 to about 5 weight % of a catalyst. The resulting elastomer is cured to produce an elastomeric tire filling composition within a pneumatic tire casing having a Durometer hardness in the range of about 5 to 60 (Shore A).03-05-2009

20100040264REGISTERING BRAIN IMAGES BY ALIGNING REFERENCE ELLIPSES - In a method of registering three-dimensional brain images, a reference slice for a midsagittal plane of each image is constructed. The reference slice comprises image points forming a cortical edge. Edge points are selected from these image points such that an ellipse fit to the edge points approximates the cortical edge. The reference ellipse in each image that fits the edge points is determined. The images are registered in a same coordinate system such that the reference ellipses in the images are aligned with one another.02-18-2010

20090217517Laser-based technique for the transfer and embedding of electronic components and devices - A laser direct write method used to transfer entire single components such as semiconductor bare dies or surface mount passive and active components on a substrate or inside recess in a substrate for making embedded microelectronics is disclosed. This method laser-machine the pockets, laser-transfer the individual components inside those pockets, and then laser-print the interconnects required to “wire” the components, thus resulting in a fully assembled embedded circuit required to make a fully functional microelectronic system.09-03-2009
