20120092510SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING VIDEO DATA - Described herein are systems and methods for managing video data. In overview, various embodiments provide software, hardware and methodologies associated with the management of video data. In overview, a distributed DVM system includes a plurality of discrete DVM systems, which may be geographically or notionally distributed. Each discrete DVM system includes a respective central DVM database server thereby to provide autonomy to the discrete system. This server supports one or more camera servers, these camera servers in turn each being configured to make available live video data from one or more cameras. Each system additionally includes one or more clients, which provide a user interface for displaying video data (such as video data from one of the cameras). The discrete DVM systems are primarily linked by way of a centralized database server/database server communications interface. However, the clients are configured to connect directly to camera servers belonging to their local DVM system or a remote DVM system in the distributed architecture.04-19-2012

20090073986Method, Apparatus and System for Guaranteed Packet Delivery Times in Asynchronous Networks - A method and apparatus for guaranteeing packet delivery times in an asynchronous network includes generating a global timing schedule to synchronize the communication between the terminals of a network and, in response to at least one trigger, transmitting and receiving data according to the generated global timing schedule. To optimize bandwidth utilization, more than one terminal may transmit data during a specific time slot of each time frame of the global timing schedule as long as no more than one terminal attempts to transmit data to a common other terminal.03-19-2009

20110154127TEST SUPPORT SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT, WHICH OPTIMIZE TEST SCENARIOS TO MINIMIZE TOTAL TEST TIME - Testing of a computer program product by selecting a test node at which a snapshot is to be acquired to enable the completion of tests along test scenarios in the shortest time is provided. Information on a test scenario, information on a test node to which a test node makes a next transition, and other information are stored. For each test node, it is determined whether a branch path exists, and for each of these test nodes, an estimated execution time required to complete a test when a snapshot is acquired at a test node is calculated, an execution time required to complete a test without acquiring any snapshot is calculated, and a difference between the execution time and the estimated execution time is calculated as a reduced time. A test node with the longest reduced time is selected, and information for identifying the selected test node is output.06-23-2011
