20090265303IDENTIFYING SUPERPHRASES OF TEXT STRINGS - Methods and apparatus are described by which “superphrases” of “seed phrases” representing basic concepts may be identified without having to compare all possible pairs of seed and candidate phrases. According to one class of embodiments, a data structure similar to an inverted index is used for indexing phrases. The elimination of seed and candidate phrase pairs is enabled by building and traversing the index in a particular manner.10-22-2009

20100235389CONTEXT BASED NETWORKING - Context based networking. A method for context based networking includes receiving a query. Further, the method includes obtaining behavioral targeting scores of a plurality of first buddy nodes of a node corresponding to the query. Furthermore, the method includes updating the behavioral targeting scores of the plurality of first buddy nodes based on behavioral targeting score of at least one second buddy node of each first buddy node. In addition, the method includes forwarding the query to at least one first buddy node based on the updated behavioral targeting scores. Further, the method includes obtaining a response associated with the query. The method also includes electronically providing the response to a user of the node.09-16-2010
20110093270REPLACING AN AUDIO PORTION - A method includes identifying a first syllable in a first audio of a first word and a second syllable in a second audio of a second word, the first syllable having a first set of properties and the second syllable having a second set of properties; detecting the first syllable in a first instance of the first word in an audio file, the first syllable in the first instance having a third set of properties; determining one or more transformations for transforming the first set of properties to the third set of properties; applying the one or more transformations to the second set of properties of the second syllable to yield a transformed second syllable; and replacing the first syllable in the first instance of the first word with the transformed second syllable in the audio file.04-21-2011

20110302026SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TARGETED ADVERTISING THROUGH TRAFFIC ANALYSIS IN A NETWORK ENVIRONMENT - An example method includes receiving packets associated with network traffic and identifying location information associated with an end user related to the network traffic. The method also includes extracting keywords from the network traffic, the keywords and the location information are used as a basis for rendering an advertisement on digital signage that is physically proximate to a current location of the end user. In other embodiments, the network traffic can be matched against access control lists, which are configured with Internet protocol (IP) addresses relating to search engines. Additionally, the network traffic can be classified based on fields in the packets, wherein the fields include a source Internet protocol (IP) address, a destination IP address, and a transmission control protocol (TCP) port. In more particular embodiments, the network traffic is hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) requests originating from a handheld device operated by the end user.12-08-2011

20110124896A 9,10,12-TRIACYLOXY OCTADECANOIC ACID ALKYL ESTER AND 9,10,12-TRIACYLOXY OCTADECANOIC ACID ALKYL ESTER RICH FATTY ACID ALKYL ESTERS MIXTURE AND A PROCESS FOR PREPARATION THEREOF - The present invention relates to modification of the chemical structure of ricinoleic acid, which is present to an extent of 85-90% in castor oil into triacyloxy alkyl ester derivatives. Accordingly, 9,10,12-trihydroxy octadecanoic acid rich fatty acid mixture was prepared from castor oil and converted to their alkyl esters followed by acylation of hydroxy groups to get 9,10,12-triacyloxy octadecanoic acid alkyl ester rich fatty acid alkyl esters mixture. The 9,10,12-triacyloxy octadecanoic acid alkyl esters were purified from the crude product and characterized by 05-26-2011
20110263885POLYOL ESTERS OF MEDIUM CHAIN FATTY ACIDS AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION THEREOF - A new class of oleochemical based polyol esters of general formula 1 are prepared by esterification of different polyols having 5-6 carbon atoms and 2-4 hydroxyl groups with 10-undecenoic acid or/and undecanoic acid with a hydroxyl value of ≦1.0 mg KOH/g. 20110282084CASTOR OIL FATTY ACID BASED ESTOLIDE ESTERS AND THEIR DERIVATIVES AS POTENTIAL LUBRICANT BASE STOCKS - Castor oil was hydrolysed to castor fatty acids and self condensed to get a ricinoleic acid-based estolide of about acid value. The carboxylic group of the estolide on subsequent esterification with linear or branched chain alcohols and also on acetylation of free hydroxy group yielded castor oil fatty acids based estolide esters and their acetates. All the products were evaluated for total acid number (TAN), viscosity, viscosity index, pour point, flash point, and copper strip corrosion and found to be potential lubricant basestocks.11-17-2011
