20090125811USER INTERFACE PROVIDING AUDITORY FEEDBACK - A UI (user interface) for natural gestural control uses inertial physics coupled to gestures made on a gesture-pad (“GPad”) by the user in order to provide an enhanced list and grid navigation experience which is both faster and more enjoyable to use than current list and grid navigation methods using a conventional 5-way D-pad (directional pad) controllers. In addition to providing the user with tactile feedback, the UI provides auditory feedback that may be generated by operation of a switch that is activated by receipt of the user input or by playing of an appropriate sound sample (such as a pre-recorded or synthesized clicking sound) through an internal speaker. In some examples the auditory feedback includes changes in the volume and pitch of the sound based upon on the dynamics of the user interface.05-14-2009

20120081376Graphics System which Utilizes Fine Grained Analysis to Determine Performance Issues - Analyzing an application executing on a target device. An application may be executed on a target device. Low cost measurement may be gathered regarding the application executing on the target device. In response to a trigger, high cost measurement data may be gathered regarding the application executing on the target device. The high cost measurement data may include graphics commands provided by the application. The graphics commands and related information may be stored and provided to a host. The host may modify the graphics commands to perform experiments to determine performance issues of the application executing on the target device. The host may determine whether the performance is limited by the CPU or the GPU and may determine specific operations that are causing performance issues. The host may provide suggestions for overcoming the performance issues.04-05-2012

20090289111System And Method For Providing A Product-Based Coupon Card Account - Providing a product-based coupon account. Specifically, the invention provides systems and methods for providing consumers with a coupon account for receiving an incentive or discount for purchasing a particular product. The consumer is issued a coupon account or coupon card that can be used at a merchant to receive the incentive at the time of purchase of the particular product. The coupon card is scanned at the merchant point of sale and information associated with the transaction including product-level information (e.g., SKU or UPC) and information associated with the coupon card is communicated to a authorization computing system for approval based on this information. The coupon card can be issued for one-time use or can receive updated incentives periodically.11-26-2009

20090067922Flow restricting member - A device for restricting flow through a curb inlet opening defined in a street storm drain by secure positioning a face plate extending thereover. Multiple flow slots are defined extending through the face plate to allow limited flow therethrough. The face plate is securable to the drain by mounting apparatus which includes one or more mounting brackets along with an engagement device attachable to the flow limiting slots and the brackets to hold the face plate in position extending over the curb inlet opening. Mounting brackets can have teeth for engaging storm drain for enhanced securement therewith. The flow restricting slots are preferably radially arranged with respect to one another and can include lateral slots further engageable with the mounting bracket to prevent rotation thereof during tightening thereof. Conical washers can extend over the head of mounting bolts for protection thereof.03-12-2009
