20080279894Bacterial Glycolipid Activation of Cd1d-Restricted Nkt Cells - Disclosed are methods for activating an NKT cell, methods of stimulating an immune response in a subject, methods of improving vaccine efficacy, and methods of treating an infection. Also disclosed are methods of promoting tumor rejection, treating cancer, modulating autoimmunity and inhibiting allergen-induced hypersensitivity in subjects. The methods include contacting an NKT cell with a bacterial glycolipid complexed with a CD1 molecule to activate the NKT cell. The bacterial glycolipid may be derived from a member of the Class Alphaproteobacteria.11-13-2008
20090047299MODIFIED ALPHA-GALACTOSYL CERAMIDES FOR STAINING AND STIMULATING NATURAL KILLER T CELLS - Modified glycolipid compounds are provided. Also disclosed are methods for activating an NKT cell, methods of stimulating an immune response in a subject, and methods suitable for labeling NKT cells.02-19-2009
201001372316"-AMINO-6"-DEOXYGALACTOSYLCERAMIDES - This invention relates to galactosylceramide compounds.06-03-2010
20110027323ADJUVANTS AND METHODS OF USE - Compositions comprising NKT cell agonist compounds and a physiologically acceptable vehicle are provided. Methods of stimulating an NKT cell and enhancing an immune response are also disclosed. Further provided are vaccine preparations comprising NKT cell agonist compounds.02-03-2011
20110082106METHODS OF ACTIVATING NKT CELLS - Provided are methods of activating an NKT cell which include a step of contacting the NKT cell with a sufficient amount of isoglobotrihexosylceramide (iGb3) to induce secretion of a cytokine from the NKT cell, stimulate proliferation of the NKT cell or upregulate expression of a cell surface marker on the NKT cell. Methods of activating an NKT cell population in a subject are also provided.04-07-2011

Patent application numberDescriptionPublished
20090313535METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING REDUCED-SIZE HYPERTEXT CONTENT TO A LIMITED-DISPLAY CLIENT DEVICE - A computer system provides content to a client device such as a handheld wireless telephone by identifying the client device as a limited-display client device, receiving a request from the client device for hypertext content (e.g. content in HTML form), and generating a reduced-size version of the requested hypertext content. Based on the identification of the client device as a limited-display client device and in response to the request, the reduced-size version of the hypertext content is returned to the client device. The reduced-size version of the hypertext content may be generated by removing information from the hypertext content which is not relevant to the display of the client device, and the reduced-size version of the hypertext content may include page in a text-based hypertext markup language such as HTML. A layout conversion may be used from a first hypertext layout to a second hypertext layout of the reduced hypertext content, which may be more directly usable by a handheld wireless telephone than is the first hypertext layout.12-17-2009
