20090306381Mono Amine and Diamine Derivatives of CL-20 - The invention describes the synthesis of novel mono-amine and di-amine derivatives of hexa-nitro-hexaazaisohex-awurtzitane (CL-20). The synthesis is effected by the novel use of fluoroacylating compounds to protect the secondary amine groups of acylated precursors to CL-20 against nitrolysis. In so doing the mono-amine and di-amine derivatives of CL-20 are rendered and which in turn may be subsequently utilised as intermediates to generate further novel derivatives with differing physical and chemical properties to the parent compound. Formula (I), wherein:— X═H, and Y═H or NO12-10-2009

20080270432METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RETRIEVING DATA REPRESENTING A POSTAL ADDRESS FROM A PLURALITY OF POSTAL ADDRESSES - A method for retrieving a desired postal address from a plurality of postal addresses. The invention can feature receiving input data having input terms for finding the desired postal address from a first database of postal addresses where each postal address is formed of a plurality of postal address elements, searching a dictionary for entries in the dictionary corresponding to the input terms, determining that each entry in the dictionary that corresponds to the input terms corresponds to postal address elements of one or more postal addresses in the first database, and outputting data representing the desired postal address. The desired postal address is found in the first database if an address in that database has postal address elements that correspond with each of the entries of the dictionary that corresponds to one or more of the input terms.10-30-2008

20100143696STRATIFIED CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITE - The present invention relates to a method for forming a stratified cementitious body comprising placing a cementitious slurry comprising a cementitious binder, to form the body in a single pour and curing the slurry to form a stratified cementitious body. The method may also comprise the steps of mixing a cementitious binder and at least one aggregate material with water to form a slurry, pouring the slurry into a mould, allowing the slurry to stratify into layers under the influence of gravitational forces and/or buoyancy forces, optionally applying vibrations to the slurry to encourage the slurry to stratify into layers, and curing the slurry to form a stratified cementitious body.06-10-2010
