20080233741Bulk-Isolated PN Diode and Method of Forming a Bulk-Isolated PN Diode - A technique for making a bulk isolated PN diode is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method may include providing a substrate having a doped region and disposing a dielectric material over the doped region. The method may also include forming first and second holes in the dielectric material exposing the doped region, and forming respective first and second polysilicon plugs within the first and second holes over the doped region. In one embodiment, the first and second polysilicon plugs are doped opposite one another such that a PN junction is formed between the first or second polysilicon plug and the doped region of the substrate, and has a cross-sectional area generally defined by the first or second hole adjacent the PN junction. Various devices, systems, and other methods are also disclosed.09-25-2008
20100072532Recessed Access Device For A Memory - Semiconductor memory devices having recessed access devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of forming the recessed access device includes forming a device recess in a substrate material that extends to a first depth in the substrate that includes a gate oxide layer in the recess. The device recess may be extended to a second depth that is greater that the first depth to form an extended portion of the device recess. A field oxide layer may be provided within an interior of the device recess that extends inwardly into the interior of the device recess and into the substrate. Active regions may be formed in the substrate that abut the field oxide layer, and a gate material may be deposited into the device recess.03-25-2010
20100073993MULTI-RESISTIVE INTEGRATED CIRCUIT MEMORY - A capacitor for use in integrated circuits comprises a layer of conductive material. The layer of conductive material including at least a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion are arranged in a predetermined pattern relative to one another to provide a maximum amount of capacitance per semiconductor die area.03-25-2010
20100297822Methods of forming capacitor structures, methods of forming threshold voltage implant regions, and methods of implanting dopant into channel regions - The invention includes methods of forming channel region implants for two transistor devices simultaneously, in which a mask is utilized to block a larger percentage of a channel region location of one of the devices relative to the other. The invention also pertains to methods of forming capacitor structures in which a first capacitor electrode is spaced from a semiconductor substrate by a dielectric material, a second capacitor electrode comprises a conductively-doped diffusion region within the semiconductor material, and a capacitor channel region location is beneath the dielectric material and adjacent the conductively-doped diffusion region. An implant mask is formed to cover only a first portion of the capacitor channel region location and to leave a second portion of the capacitor channel region location uncovered. While the implant mask is in place, dopant is implanted into the uncovered second portion of the capacitor channel region location.11-25-2010

20100182127ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED SENSITIVITY - The electronic identification system provides two-way communications between reader and tags using alternating magnetic fields established by the reader and tag. Communication is accomplished by utilizing either a one-step or a two-step modulation process in which the information to be communicated either modulates an alternating magnetic field directly or modulates a periodic signal which modulates an alternating magnetic field. The coil in the reader that is used to establish an alternating magnetic field is transformer-coupled through capacitors to a push-pull driving circuit consisting of four field-effect transistors connected in a bridge arrangement. The coil, capacitors, and coupling circuitry are maintained in a tuned condition by continually adjusting either the driving frequency, the coil inductance, or the capacitor capacitance during communications. A tag utilizes a coil to couple with the reader's alternating magnetic field and a capacitor to resonate the coil, thereby extracting power from the field more efficiently. Transformer coupling of the coil and capacitor is utilized for improved impedance matching. The coil, capacitor, and coupling circuitry can be maintained in a tuned condition by continually adjusting either the coil inductance, or the capacitor capacitance during communications. Certain configurations of the system may require that tuning maintenance be discontinued during the transmission of data.07-22-2010

20100162158METHOD PROVIDING A PLURALITY OF SELECTABLE VALUES SUITABLE FOR AN INPUT OF A TEXT FIELD - Described herein is a method, providing a user of a graphical user interface (GUI) with a plurality of selectable values, suitable for an input of a text field in the GUI. Each time the user enters a character in the text field, a background search is performed and the plurality of selectable values is reduced to the matching values only. In case the selectable values consist of multiple words, the background search matches the input to each of the consisting words. If the user does not enter a character in the text field, the method displays a plurality of selectable values when the user performs a double-click over the text field or uses backspace key while the text field is selected. If there is no user context defined, the displayed plurality of selectable values consists of a predefined number of last recently used values in the text field. If the user is working in a context, the displayed plurality of selectable values consists of a predefined number of previously entered context specific values.06-24-2010
