20110080848ROUTING GRAPHS FOR BUILDINGS USING SCHEMATICS - The subject matter disclosed herein relates to systems, methods, etc. for creating a routing graph based at least partly on building information, which may include relatively low-detail schematics. For certain example implementations, a method may include obtaining building information descriptive of at least a portion of a building structure and superimposing a grid of points onto the building information. The building information may be analyzed using the superimposed grid of points by projecting multiple rays from multiple points of the superimposed grid of points. At least one routing graph may be created responsive to the analyzing and based at least in part on the superimposed grid of points and the building information. Other example implementations are described herein.04-07-2011
20110082638ROUTING GRAPHS FOR BUILDINGS - The subject matter disclosed herein relates to systems, methods, etc. for creating a routing graph based at least partly on building information. For certain example implementations, a method includes obtaining building information descriptive of at least a portion of a building structure. A grid of points may be superimposed onto the building information. At least one routing graph may be created based at least in part on the superimposed grid of points and the building information. Other example implementations are also described.04-07-2011
20110084804METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BUILDING ANNOTATION LAYERS BASED ON LOCATION AWARE USER CONTEXT INFORMATION - The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a system and method for determining annotations for a map. Location information for mobile devices and contextual information associated with users of mobile devices may be utilized to determine such annotations.04-14-2011
20110085707METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATED DETERMINATION OF FEATURES ON AN ELECTRONIC MAP - The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a system and method for automatically identifying features of an electronic map.04-14-2011
20110090081MAPPING WIRELESS SIGNALS WITH MOTION SENSORS - A displacement device for mapping wireless signal fingerprints includes motion sensors and at least one of a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) sensor and a round trip time (RTT) sensor. The motion sensors may include a pedometer and one or more sensors to receive turn information. The start position of the displacement device is initialized and as the displacement device is moved through an environment, the position of each measurement location is determined using the initialized position and data from the motion sensors. The measurement position along with the RSSI and/or RTT measurement is stored in a database, from which a map can be generated. The position of the access point may be determined using the RSSI measurement or RTT measurement. Additionally, accumulated errors in the measurement position may be monitored and when greater than a threshold, a user may be prompted to reinitialize the position of the displacement device.04-21-2011
20110136503HIERARCHICAL INFORMATION DISSEMINATION FOR LOCATION BASED SYSTEMS - Techniques are provided which may be implemented in various methods and/or apparatuses that support information dissemination for and/or within location based systems to control information dissemination.06-09-2011
20110172906Scalable Routing For Mobile Station Navigation With Location Context Identifier - Examples disclosed herein may relate to identifying up to a specified amount of points of interest nearest to an estimated position of a mobile station on a first map, selecting a second map identified by a first location context identifier associated with a first point of interest of the identified points of interest, and determining a route from the estimated position of the mobile station to a destination point using the first map and the second map.07-14-2011
20110179027AUTOMATIC LINKING OF POINTS OF INTEREST FOR INDOOR LOCATION BASED SEARCHING - A database of the location based relationships of points of interest within an environment is automatically generated using a digital representation of the environment that includes the points of interest at different locations within the environment. The locations of the points of interest in the environment are identified and the location based relationships between the points of interest are determined. The points of interest are labeled with the determined relationships and the points of interest and labeled relationships are stored. For example, a graph structure may be produced where each node is a point of interest and the edges between nodes is labeled with the determined relationships.07-21-2011
