20090177573SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN BROKERS AND TRADERS - According to one embodiment, a method of managing access to a trading network is provided. A first network login request for a first user is received from a client application. The first network login request includes first authentication information. Based at least on the first authentication information, the first network login request is approved, which authorizes the first user to access the trading network. One or more associated users for which the first user is authorized to act as a proxy is identifying from a plurality of users. User profile information for one of the associated users is obtained and communicated to the client application. The user profile information includes information regarding the second user that can be used to allow the first user to engage in trading activity via the trading network on behalf of the second user.07-09-2009
20120016790SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN BROKERS AND TRADERS USING A MESSAGING FORMAT - According to one embodiment, a method of managing messages in a trading network is provided. A set of user relationships between a first user and one or more second users authorized to act on behalf of the first user is stored. A trading message regarding a trading order submitted on behalf of the first user is received from a trading system. The trading message is communicated to the first user. Each of the second users is identifying from the set of user relationships. For each of the identified second users, a carrier message is generated that includes the trading message and routing information associated with that second user. For each of the identified second users, the respective carrier message is communicated toward a user application associated with that second user based at least on the routing information included in the respective carrier message.01-19-2012

20090119169VARIOUS METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR AN ENGINE THAT PAIRS ADVERTISEMENTS WITH VIDEO FILES - A system to pair advertisements with media files is described. A request is processed to find one or more relevant advertisements and determine when to display each relevant advertisement at a temporally contextual point within a video file when the video file is played on a web page. The video file's key concepts and timing information are retrieved from a database. A request is generated for advertisements that contextually match the content in the key conceptual points found in the content of the video file. The timing information is retrieved regarding when the key conceptual points, relevant to returned advertisements that contextually match, chronologically appear in the video file. Contextual relevant advertisements are supplied with temporal information on when the placement of advertisements is most contextually relevant to the content being played in the video file.05-07-2009

20090069494Polymer material - A process is described for providing a polymer material by blending as a first component one or more hydrophilic polymers, and as a second component one or more neutralising chemicals, in the complete or substantial absence of water. In the absence of water, the components will not be aqueous solutions. Thus the components can be used in blending processes, and the present invention is able to form many other shapes and forms of material other than laminates on substrates.03-12-2009

20100175699RESPIRATORY SENSOR - A sensor assembly for monitoring the respiration pattern of a subject is disclosed, the sensor comprising a sensor element for exposing to a gas stream exhaled by the subject comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and an active layer extending between the first and second electrodes to provide an electrical path therebetween, the sensor element being responsive to the concentration of water vapour in the gas stream exhaled by the subject, whereby the conductivity of the path between the electrodes varies in response to changes in the concentration of water vapour; a processor for determining the pattern of respiration of the subject; and means for displaying information relating to the determined respiration pattern to a user. The sensor assembly is particular suitable for measuring the respiration rate and/or depth of respiration of the subject. The sensor and method find particular application in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea.07-15-2010

20080301297Information Management System - An information management system is described comprising one or more workstations running applications which allow a user of the workstation to connect to a network, such as the Internet. Each application has an analyzer, which monitors transmission data that the application is about to transmit to the network or has just received from the network, and which determines an appropriate action to take regarding that data. The analyzer may consult policy data containing a supervisor-defined policy to govern the workstations in order to determine what action to take. Such actions may be extracting data from the transmission data, such as passwords and usernames, digital certificates or eCommerce transaction details for storage and record keeping; ensuring that the transmission data is transmitted at an encryption strength appropriate to the contents of the transmission data; determining whether a check needs to be made as to whether a digital certificate received in transmission is valid; determining whether a transaction about to be made by a user of one of the workstations needs third party approval before it is made; and controlling the transmission of messages, such as e-mails according to a policy.12-04-2008
