20080270493SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY REPLICATING A CUSTOMER'S PERSONALIZED COMPUTER SYSTEM IMAGE ON A NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM - The Computer Image Replication System automatically replicates a customer's computer system image, including all of the customer's data, programs, device drivers, program preferences, personalizations, and file directory structures on a new computer system. The Computer Image Replication System is part of a Data Shadowing System which comprises a memory module that is connected to a monitored computer system via an existing communication medium, such as an input/output port, to store the shadowed data. The memory module includes a memory device for data storage, as well as software, including a control software component that is automatically installed on the monitored computer system when the memory module is first connected to the monitored computer system, as well as associated module software for maintaining a record of the data stored on the memory device and controlling the operation of the memory device.10-30-2008
20100057794SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY SHADOWING DATA AND FILE DIRECTORY STRUCTURES THAT ARE RECORDED ON A COMPUTER MEMORY - The Data Shadowing System comprises a memory module that is connected to the monitored computer system via an existing input/output port to store the shadowed data. The memory module includes a memory device for data storage as well as software, including a control software component that is automatically installed on the monitored computer system when the memory module is first connected to the monitored computer system, as well as associated module software for maintaining a record of the data stored on the memory device. The Data Shadowing System automatically stores the data on the memory module in a single format, while representing it in a data management database in two formats: disk sectors and files. The Data Shadowing System thereby efficiently tracks and stores the state of multiple file systems over time, while allowing for correct disk-level and file-level restoration to a point-in-time without storing redundant data.03-04-2010
20100174684SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY SHADOWING ENCRYPTED DATA AND FILE DIRECTORY STRUCTURES FOR A PLURALITY OF NETWORK-CONNECTED COMPUTERS USING A NETWORK-ATTACHED MEMORY WITH SINGLE INSTANCE STORAGE - The Secure Networked Data Shadowing System is connected to a plurality of monitored computer systems via an existing communication medium to store the shadowed data. The data is encrypted by the monitored computer system using a cryptokey, and the data file is processed using a hash function prior to encryption, so the contents of this file are uniquely identified. Thus, the encrypted file is stored in its encrypted form and the hash index is used to identify the encrypted file. A “data de-duplication” process avoids storing multiple copies of the same files by identifying instances of duplication via the hash index. Files that have the same hash index can be reduced to a single copy without any loss of data as long as the file structure information for each instance of the file is maintained.07-08-2010

20090177812Synchronous Bus Controller System - A system for generating bus signals for a plurality of remote stations. Bus data packets are comprised of a plurality of data blocks. Each data block is directed to a remote station. The position of each data block in the data packet identifies the remote station to which the data block is directed. Each of the remote stations receives each data packet substantially synchronously. The remote stations decode the data packets to determine the type of data packet and identify the content of the data packet directed to it. Each remote station loads the corresponding content from the data packet. Each of the remote stations can then generate output signals based on the data packet content substantially synchronously with the other remote stations.07-09-2009

20100008459Calibrating A Phase Detector And Analog-To-Digital Converter Offset And Gain - The present invention includes apparatus and methods to calibrate a phase detector and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) offset and gain. In one such embodiment, an apparatus includes a phase detector to generate an error pulse and a reference pulse, a combiner to combine the pulses, and an ADC to receive the combined pulses, where the ADC has a full scale set by an average of the reference pulse. Still further, a calibration loop may be coupled between the output of the ADC and the phase detector to generate and provide a phase adjust signal to reduce or eliminate phase offsets. Other embodiments are described and claimed.01-14-2010

20080275439CARDIAC ABLATION AND ELECTRICAL INTERFACE SYSTEM AND INSTRUMENT - A system for ablating tissue and electrically interfacing with a heart including an electrosurgical instrument, an energy source, and a controller. The instrument includes a shaft maintaining first and second electrodes at a distal section. The electrodes are electrically isolated from one another. The controller controls delivery of energy from the energy source, and monitors electrical signals at the electrodes. The controller is programmed to operate in a monopolar mode and a bipolar mode. In the monopolar mode, the first and second electrodes are electrically uncoupled, and energy from the energy source is delivered to the first electrode in performing an ablation procedure. In the bipolar mode, first and second electrodes are electrically coupled and serve as opposite polarity poles to apply energy to a tissue target site, detect electrical signals at a tissue target site, or both.11-06-2008
20090299364Suction Force Ablation Device - An ablation device for ablating tissue having an outer wall and an inner wall, approximately parallel and concentric with said outer wall, defining an inner fluid chamber and an outer low pressure chamber. Each of the outer wall and the inner wall have an edge defining an open face of the fluid chamber and the low pressure chamber. An ablative element is contained within the fluid chamber. A source of low pressure is coupled to the low pressure chamber. When the edge of the outer wall and the edge of the inner wall contact a surface, the ablation device is at least partially secured to the surface by low pressure created in the low pressure chamber by the source of low pressure. The fluid chamber is at least partially fluidly isolated from the low pressure chamber when the ablation device is at least partially secured to the surface.12-03-2009
