20090210281Job matching system and method - A system for matching employment candidates to employment positions is disclosed. Measures of personality traits and optionally interests are used to match candidates to employment positions. Candidates' traits may be assessed by administering a questionnaire. A similar questionnaire may be provided to suitable employees who are already filling, or have previously filled, employment positions, in order to assess personality traits of suitable employees for each position. Results are preferably received and compared. A list of suitable jobs may then be provided to the candidate. Software and computer systems embodying the method are also disclosed.08-20-2009

20100153289SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CREATING A DYNAMIC CUSTOMIZED EMPLOYMENT PROFILE AND SUBSEQUENT USE THEREOF - A system and method for dynamically generating a customized profile for a company for a selected profile type, the customized profile including a set of attribute types, each of the attribute types having a customized attribute range. The system comprises a receipt module for receiving a predefined profile having predefined attribute types corresponding to the set of attribute types. Each of the predefined attribute types has a predefined attribute range representing a range of attribute values for the selected profile type, and for receiving personal assessments of individuals related to the company. Each of the personal assessments has questions related to attributes. Each of the questions has a value assigned by the respective related individual.06-17-2010

20090211579METHOD OF CONVEYING BREATHING GASES TO OR FROM A PATIENT - A method of conveying humid breathing gases from a patient through a breathable breathing tube. The breathing tube includes a heater associated, at least in part, with a portion of hydrophilic material. The purpose of the heater is to evaporate any condensed liquid collecting in the conduit, which is first sucked tip by the hydrophilic material. The heated wick reduces the risk of collected water being passed to the patient and causing choking fits or discomfit. It is preferred that the heated wick lies freely in the conduit to settle at low points in the conduit where condensation may collect.08-27-2009

20090267824ANTENNA ARRAY CALIBRATION - An antenna array comprises a surface comprising a replicated pattern of conductive tracks, the tracks defining a plurality of ports. A plurality of antennae are located at ports distributed about the surface. A plurality of radiative transceivers are electrically connected to a respective antenna. A plurality of reference transceivers are electrically connected to a non-radiative impedance located at a respective port so that each reference transceiver is surrounded by a group of antennae and electrically coupled to the group of antennae by the tracks. At least one antenna from at least one group of antennae belongs to one other group of antennae. Calibration circuitry includes a controller associated with each reference transceiver, each controller being arranged to transmit a calibration signal through an associated reference transceiver and to receive and store a received calibration signal from a selected transceiver for the group of antennae coupled to the reference transceiver. Each controller is further arranged to receive and store a calibration signal from the selected transceiver for the group of antennae coupled to the reference transceiver. The calibration circuitry further includes for each other transceiver for the group of antenna, circuitry for adjusting the phase and amplitude of signals transmitted and received by the radiative transceivers relative to the stored calibration signals for the selected radiative transceiver.10-29-2009

20090217155INTERNET SERVICES AND METHODS THEREOF - A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a computer-readable storage medium operating in a web server having computer instructions for receiving from an Internet browser a request to create a viewing profile for a web page, creating the viewing profile by generating an asynchronous script for processing at least a portion of data supplied by a web service, embedding the asynchronous script in the web page, and presenting at the Internet browser the updated web page with the embedded asynchronous script. Additional embodiments are disclosed.08-27-2009

20090193393AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING REST CLIENTS FROM REST RESOURCES - The present invention discloses a method and system for creating REST clients using existing REST export information. The invention can provide a wizard able to dynamically generate REST client code. The REST client code can include source code, such as HTML and JAVA SCRIPT starting points that can be further configured by the REST client code recipient. In one embodiment, the automatically created REST client can be a GUI client able to be rendered within a browser. The REST client can include one or more sections, each associated with a particular REST resource. Each resource specific section can include fields for specifying values of each resource parameter. Suitable GUI controls can be associated with each of the fields such as using a checkbox for a Boolean field and a drop down list for an enumerated field.07-30-2009
20100094884REPRESENTATIONAL STATE TRANSFER (REST) SERVICE IMPORT EDITOR - In an embodiment of the invention, a method for REST service importation in a distributed application development data processing system can be provided. The method can include the specifying a sample uniform resource locator (URL) in a graphical user interface to a REST service importation editor and invoking the REST service at the sample URL in order to receive a response object from the REST service. The method further can include parsing both the sample URL and the response object to identify different request fields and field types of a request object for the REST service and also response fields and field types of the response object. Finally, the method can include displaying a description of the request fields and field types of the request object and also a description of the response fields and field types of the response object in the graphical user interface to the REST service importation editor.04-15-2010

20100299364WEB APPLICATION FOR DEBATE MAPS - A fully web-enabled software system for building, editing, evaluating, rendering, navigating and storing an integrate repository of debate in which schematic representations of individual debates are bound together to form an overarching repository of debate by a multiplicity of user-specified semantic cross-relationships that allow the emergence of clusters of related debates. The system is comprised of: A Application software that allows system users to build and edit debate maps made up of discrete elements representing entities such as issues or questions, claims, positions, and simple and compound arguments, scenarios and debate protagonists in accordance with a set of constraints herein termed a map grammar that ensure that such maps are constructed in accordance with sound argumentation principles, an in which the set of all such maps are stored in a single, unified data structure. B Application software that enables users of the system to create an additional layer of semantic cross-relationships between individual debate elements, or nodes, where such elements may be in the same debate map, or in different debate maps, thereby making possible the representation of relationships between debates as well as relationships within elements of single debate maps.11-25-2010

20090144302WEB APPLICATION FOR ARGUMENT MAPS - A fully web-enabled method for diagrammatically representing the meaningful structure of a complex argument or debate, or other similar information, as a schematic map made up of nodes each of which represent a discrete element in said meaningful structure . The method includes beginning a new map by specifying the broad subject matter and other data about the map and selecting from one of a plurality of sets of encoded information and rules, termed Map Grammars, that constrain how nodes of different types may be combined to form maps and the actions available to persons building. The method further includes editing or otherwise interacting with such maps. The method also includes associating selected information items relevant to the argument or debate with map nodes. The method also includes adding nodes to the schematic map in such a way as to form an overall structure in which nodes are organized so as to conform to the Map Grammar at all times.06-04-2009
