20100271450Open Loop Oil Delivery System - A drum maintenance system for use in an imaging device includes an applicator configured to apply a release agent to a surface of an intermediate transfer drum of an imaging device at a first flow rate, and a reservoir spaced from the applicator including a supply of the release agent for the applicator. A first fluid path fluidly couples the reservoir to the applicator for delivering release agent to the applicator; and a second fluid path fluidly couples the applicator to the reservoir for recirculating release agent back to the reservoir. A delivery pump is configured to pump release agent from the reservoir to the applicator via the first fluid path at a second flow rate; and a recirculation pump is configured to pump release agent from the applicator to the reservoir at a third flow rate. The second flow rate is greater than the first flow rate, and the third flow rate is greater than the second flow rate.10-28-2010
20100271451Method of Servicing A Drum Maintenance Unit (DMU) in An Image Generating System - A method of servicing a customer replaceable unit of an imaging device includes providing a customer replaceable unit configured for insertion and removal from an imaging device. The customer replaceable unit includes at least an applicator configured to apply a release agent to a surface of an intermediate transfer drum of the imaging device, a reservoir including a supply of the release agent for the applicator, a delivery pump configured to pump release agent from the reservoir to the applicator, a recirculation pump configured to pump release agent from the applicator to the reservoir, and a memory including operational data for the customer replaceable unit. A maintenance procedure is then performed on the customer replaceable unit.10-28-2010

20080245191Device for opening and sealing a beverage can lid - A device for opening and re-sealing a flip-tab beverage can lid includes a pull handle connected with a base portion. The base portion is tapered and further comprises an upper and lower base portion. The pull handle facilitates the opening of the lid and the base portion is configured to cover and optionally seal the lid opening. A sleeve portion is contained within the base portion and is configured to receive the flip-tab of a beverage can lid. The beverage can lid is opened by lifting the pull handle away from lid surface to cause a tab lip of the flip-tab to rotate towards the lid surface and act as a lever to punch out a swinging seal in the lid surface that is defined by a scored area. The pull handle further facilitates rotation of the base portion about the lid surface and into a covering position that covers the lid opening and keeps the can contents free from outside contaminants. The base portion can then be depressed into a sealing position that seals the lid opening and substantially eliminates the loss of carbonation from the beverage can. The device is held in the sealing position by a ridge that spans the perimeter of the lower base portion and hold the device firmly against the lid opening and lid surface. The device can be taken out of the sealing position by lifting the pull handle. In this manner a user of the present invention can repeatedly open and re-seal the opening of a beverage can lid as desired.10-09-2008

20110114428VELOCITY PROGRESSIVE VALVING - A shock absorber has a valve assembly having a valve that is biased away from a valve body. A controlled restriction is defined between the valve and the valve body. During stroking of the piston of the shock absorber, the valve moves toward the valve body to close the restriction. The valve assembly can be used in the piston assembly, the base valve assembly or both.05-19-2011
