20100128906HEARING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME - A system providing hearing assistance to a user having a wireless remote control for transmitting control commands as an amplitude modulated radio frequency signal, an RF power detector for outputting a signal representative of the power envelope of the RF signal received by an antenna of the RF power detector, a classifier unit for analyzing the output signal of the RF power detector to detect control commands of the remote control and to detect the presence of a source of interfering RF signals, an audio signal processing unit, and a user's ear worn part for stimulating the user's hearing according to audio signals processed in the audio signal processing unit. The classifier unit provides a control signal representing detected remote control commands and an interference signal representing the presence of a source of interfering RF signals. Operation of the audio signal processing unit is controlled by the control signal.05-27-2010
20100303269FITTING PROCEDURE FOR HEARING DEVICES AND CORRESPONDING HEARING DEVICE - The method for adjusting a hearing device to the hearing preferences of a user of said hearing device comprises the steps of 12-02-2010
20110150256METHOD FOR ADAPTING SOUND IN A HEARING AID DEVICE BY FREQUENCY MODIFICATION AND SUCH A DEVICE - In a digital hearing aid device (06-23-2011
20110190882OBJECTIVE FITTING OF A HEARING PROSTHESIS - A system for fitting a hearing prosthesis to a recipient. The system comprises a stimulation arrangement configured to at least one of mechanically and acoustically stimulate the recipient's inner ear based on an input signal; a neural response detection arrangement configured to detect the recipient's neural responses to the stimulation; and a processor configured to assess the recipient's neural responses, and to adjust operation of the hearing prosthesis based on the assessment of the neural responses.08-04-2011

20120003606CONNECTION OF A PROSTHESIS STRUCTURE WITH AN IMPLANT STRUCTURE - A connection device for connecting a prosthesis structure with an implant structure comprises a holding shell and a retention insert. The retention insert comprises an end side and a substantially ring-shaped retention rim projecting therefrom. The holding shell comprises an end side and a substantially ring-shaped holding rim projecting therefrom. The holding rim and the end side of the holding shell form a retainer in which the retention insert can be arranged such that an outer surface of the retention rim is adjacent to an inner surface of the holding rim. Moreover, the outer surface of the retention rim is at least partly spaced from and adjacent to the inner surface of the holding rim when the retention insert is arranged in the retainer of the holding shell and when essentially no radial forces are acting on the holding rim and on the retention rim. In that the adjacent outer surface of the retention rim and inner surface of the holding rim are at least partly not contacting each other but are spaced from each other when essentially no radial forces are acting on the holding rim and on the retention rim, it can, i.a., be achieved that the retention insert is connected relatively loosely with the holding shell when the connection device has not yet been placed on the implant structure. This loose connection can allow the retention insert to be relatively easily removed from the holding shell and inserted in the holding shell without having to be substantially deformed or strained in any other way. Thus, it is possible to insert and remove the retention insert gently, which can improve the flexibility and lifetime of the connection device.01-05-2012

20100310103METHOD FOR DETERMINING OF FEEDBACK THRESHOLD IN A HEARING DEVICE AND A HEARING DEVICE - A method for determining feedback thresholds in a plurality of frequency bands and/or at a plurality of frequencies processed by a hearing device is disclosed. The feedback thresholds are defined as gains, at which feedback occurs while a hearing device user is wearing the hearing device. The method comprises the step of determining feedback thresholds in an order of precedence, wherein the order of precedence being defined according to a degree of importance that the feedback threshold is determined in a particular frequency band or at a particular frequency, respectively.12-09-2010
20110026746METHOD FOR DETERMINING OF FEEDBACK THRESHOLD IN A HEARING DEVICE AND A HEARING DEVICE - A method for determining feedback thresholds in a plurality of frequency bands and/or at a plurality of frequencies processed by a hearing device is disclosed. The feedback thresholds are defined as gains, at which feedback occurs while a hearing device user is wearing the hearing device. The method comprises the steps of determining a quality index for a measured feedback threshold, and considering a measured feedback threshold as final if the quality index meets minimum predefined requirements.02-03-2011
