20120311336PERFORMING ZERO-COPY SENDS IN A NETWORKED FILE SYSTEM WITH CRYPTOGRAPHIC SIGNING - A method and system for sending data in a file system that uses cryptographic signatures to protect data integrity. A computer system calculates a signature based on the content of a page of a memory. The memory is shared by processes that run on the computer system. The computer system write-protects the page while the page is used for calculation of the signature. When a first process attempts to modify the page, a page fault is triggered. In response to the page fault, the content of the page in memory is copied to a new page in the memory. The new page is accessible by the processes. Access to the page by the first process is redirected to the new page. Subsequent to the page fault, access to the page by the second process is also redirected to the new page.12-06-2012

20110131387MANAGING UNALLOCATED STORAGE SPACE USING EXTENTS AND BITMAPS - A computing device executing a file system maintains a search tree that includes extents for managing first regions of unallocated storage space and bitmaps for managing second regions of unallocated storage space. For each region of unallocated storage space, the file system determines whether to manage that region using an extent or a bitmap based on one or more space management criteria.06-02-2011

20080218047SHELF ASSEMBLY - The disclosed invention relates to a bidirectional shelf assembly which may be used in a single door or double door cabinet. The cabinet may comprise the decontamination chamber of a decontamination unit. The cabinet may comprise a sterilizer and/or washer.09-11-2008
20080267819TRANSPORTABLE DECONTAMINATION UNIT AND DECONTAMINATION PROCESS - The disclosed invention relates to a portable decontamination unit. The invention also relates to a decontamination process. The decontamination unit may employ a shipping container for transporting a decontaminant generator and optionally a power generator, and for functioning as a decontamination chamber. The decontamination unit may be ruggedized for use in hostile environments such as those that may be anticipated for military applications.10-30-2008
20080279719DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM WITH AIR BYPASS - A decontamination system for decontaminating an enclosure defining a chamber or region. The decontamination system includes an air bypass for introducing atmospheric air into the decontamination system and bypassing air to the atmosphere in response to system operating conditions. The air bypass allows increased airflow through the decontamination system during certain operating modes of the decontamination system (i.e., dehumidification and aeration phases), thereby reducing the amount of time needed to dehumidify and aerate the enclosure. The air bypass also facilitates the use of a high capacity dryer in the decontamination system.11-13-2008
20080279722TRANSPORTABLE DECONTAMINATION UNIT AND DECONTAMINATION PROCESS - The disclosed invention relates to a portable decontamination unit. The invention also relates to a decontamination process. The decontamination unit may be ruggedized for use in hostile environments such as those that may be anticipated for military applications.11-13-2008
20100166602CIRCULATION AND DISPOSAL DEVICE FOR MULTI-PURPOSE STERILIZATION CHAMBERS AND WASHING CHAMBERS - The present invention provides an apparatus for circulating a carrier gas containing a chemical deactivating vapor or gas in a chamber. The apparatus includes a housing defining a flow path therethrough. The housing has an inlet end and an outlet end. A blower is provided for conveying a carrier gas containing a chemical deactivating vapor or gas along the flow path. A filter that includes a filter element is provided. The filter is movable between a first position and a second position, wherein the filter element is fluidly isolated from the flow path when the filter is in the first position, and the filter element is disposed in the flow path when the filter is in the second position. An actuator is provided for moving the filter between the first position and the second position.07-01-2010
20120121462TRANSPORTABLE DECONTAMINATION UNIT AND DECONTAMINATION PROCESS - The disclosed invention relates to a portable decontamination unit. The invention also relates to a decontamination process. The decontamination unit may be ruggedized for use in hostile environments such as those that may be anticipated for military applications.05-17-2012
