20100276711Light Emitting Diode Arrangement for High Safety Requirements - In a light emitting diode arrangement for lighting purposes, comprising a circuit board with at least one light generating semiconductor element disposed on the circuit board and conductors extending on the circuit board to the semiconductor element and being electrically connected to terminals of the semiconductor element, a light transmissive element is disposed on the circuit board and covers the semiconductor element and a flame resistant cover element is disposed below the light transmissive element and on top of the terminals to cover the terminals to provide for electrical and flame insulation thereof.11-04-2010
20100277914Lighting Apparatus with Several Light Units Arranged in a Heatsink - In a lighting apparatus, comprising a heatsink having at one side thereof a recess with at least one groove extending over the length of the heatsink, a plurality of lighting units are arranged in the groove or grooves oriented toward the opening of the recess for the emission of light therefrom and the frame is provided at the side opposite the opening with heatsink ribs, the lighting units in the groove or grooves being encapsulated by an encapsulating material added into the groove or grooves and being cured therein so as to be in direct contact with the groove walls and enclosing the lighting units at least up to the light emitting lenses thereof.11-04-2010
20100277921Electronic Apparatus - In an electronic apparatus comprising a circuit board supporting semiconductor components and traces or conductors for supplying electrical energy to the semiconductor components, and a connection arrangement by which the conductors are connected to a power supply cable, the circuit board being covered by an electrically insulating encapsulating layer, a molded frame part is mounted on the circuit board so as to cover the connection arrangement, the molded frame part having a circumferential edge structure which extends on one end into the encapsulating layer and at the other end projects above the encapsulating layer so as to create an interior space which, when the encapsulating layer is at least partially cured, is filled with additional encapsulating compound to form, after curing, a relatively thick protective layer over the wire or cable and conductor connecting area.11-04-2010
20110051423LED ASSEMBLY - An LED module or assembly is disclosed, the assembly having at least one LED component mounted on a support or circuit board and an optical element which encloses the at least one LED component and defines an interior space in which the at least one LED component is housed. A vent device is defined within the optical element for permitting gases generated from operation of the at least one LED component to be vented to atmosphere. The vent device prevents outside moisture from entering the interior space, but permits the gases to pass out to atmosphere for minimizing the likelihood of fogging of the optical elements in the interior space of the assembly.03-03-2011

20080232314METHOD OF PROVIDING A VoIP CONNECTION - This invention concerns a method of providing a VoIP connection through wireless communication links of a packet-based wireless communication system, and a corresponding base station and terminal. The wireless communication links comprise an uplink transmission path (09-25-2008
20080232315METHOD OF MANAGING COEXISTING PACKET STREAMS - The invention concerns a method of managing coexisting packet streams (09-25-2008
20080274771METHOD OF GROUPING USERS FOR OPPORTUNISTIC DOWNLINK IN MULTIUSER, MULTIPLE-INPUT-MULTIPLE-OUTPUT WIRELESS COMMUNICATION - The present invention provides a method implemented in a base station having a plurality of antennas. The method includes associating a plurality of users with a plurality of first pre-coding matrices based on information provided by the plurality of users. The method also includes determining whether at least one of the plurality of first pre-coding matrices is incomplete and associating users with at least one second pre-coding matrix when at least one first pre-coding matrix is incomplete. The users are associated with the incomplete first pre-coding matrix and the second pre-coding matrix is formed based on the incomplete first pre-coding matrix.11-06-2008
20080316959METHOD OF TRANSMITTING SCHEDULING REQUESTS OVER UPLINK CHANNELS - In various embodiments of the present invention, methods are provided for transmitting scheduling requests over uplink channels. One embodiment includes determining whether a first resource for transmission of a scheduling request over an unscheduled uplink control channel is allocated concurrently with a second resource for transmission of user data over a scheduled uplink shared channel. This embodiment also includes encoding the user data and bit(s) of control information to form encoded information for transmission using the second resource. The additional bit(s) indicate whether the mobile unit is transmitting the scheduling request. Another embodiment includes determining whether a first resource for transmission of a scheduling request over an unscheduled uplink control channel is allocated concurrently with a second resource for transmission of other control information over the unscheduled uplink control channel. This embodiment includes modulating the scheduling request and the other control information into one symbol for transmission using the first resource.12-25-2008

20120264476Filtering of a Measurement Quantity in a Mobile Communication Network - A method for filtering measurement values of a measurement quantity obtained from a communication between a mobile device and a mobile communication network and a mobile communication network device adapted to filter such measurement values are provided. A measurement value for the measurement quantity is to be periodically received at fixed points in time. The measurement value is filtered using a digital filter for obtaining a filtering result, wherein the filtering of the measurement value includes the weighting of the measurement value with a weighting coefficient. The filtering result can be provided for an adaptation of the communication link to the mobile device.10-18-2012

20100040155Method of multiple-antenna communication having improved utilization of channel correlations - A MIMO transmission scheme is provided which provides some advantages of the Alamouti code but which can be adapted so as to provide enhanced performance for a given amount of antenna correlation. A block of complex scalar input symbols is mapped to a block-code matrix which is transmitted as a spacetime signal matrix from an array of two or more antennas. The block-code matrix is assembled by combining input data with specified dispersion matrices. Each of the dispersion matrices is determined, in part, by an adjustable parameter which relates to a degree of beam-forming behavior by the transmission antenna array.02-18-2010
