Alignment correction prio to image sampling in inspection systems - A method and apparatus, and variations of each, for inspecting a wafer defining at least one die thereon is disclosed. The present invention first obtains the electronic image equivalent of two die, and then determines the x and y offset between those electronic images. Prior to inspection for defects, those two electronic images are aligned by adjusting the x and y positions of one electronic image of one die with respect to the electronic image of the other die. Once that is accomplished, the those electronic images are compared to detect any defects that may exist on one of the die. | 12-11-2008

SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY WITH AN ADJUSTABLE HEADREST - A seat back assembly including a frame molded from material having low density such as expanded polypropylene. The seat back assembly further includes an adjustable head rest assembly including a guide bracket encapsulated in a frame. Encapsulating the guide bracket within the frame provides the headrest assembly with a rigid support, while simultaneously reducing the mass of the seat back assembly with respect to seat back assemblies having a metal seat frame. The headrest assembly includes a headrest body and a pair of legs extending outwardly from the headrests. The guide bracket is fully encapsulated within the Frame during the molding process, and is configured so as to slidingly receive each of the legs and secure the headrest assembly to the seat back assembly. | 06-24-2010
SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRAL REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE - A seat back assembly including a frame formed of a low density material such as expanded polypropylene (EPP) and a reinforcement structure encapsulated within the frame is provided. The reinforcement structure includes a load transferring surface extending between opposite ends of the seat back. Each end of the reinforcement structure is secured to a vehicle body structure. The reinforcement structure transfers a load placed upon the seat back assembly throughout the frame so as to maintain the structural integrity of the frame under a predetermined load. Specifically, the load transferring surface of the reinforcement structure is in contact with the frame and transfers the load across a predetermined area of the frame and to the vehicle body. | 06-24-2010
SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY WITH LOW DENSITY FRAME - A seat back assembly including a frame molded from expanded polypropylene (EPP). The expanded polypropylene frame includes a first surface and a second surface. The EPP frame is molded so as to include at least one standoff. The standoff extends outwardly from the second surface into a contact surface. The contact surface is registered to engage a vehicle body structure. Thus when the seat back experiences a frontal load, the frontal load is transformed so as to compress the standoff, and also transfers a load to the vehicle body structure. The EPP frame may also be molded so as to encapsulate an armrest bracket for attaching a pivotable armrest, or attachment wires to secure the seat back assembly to the vehicle body. The EPP frame may also be molded to include a headrest. | 06-24-2010

CLIP - The present invention discloses a clip for attaching an object to a sheet having an aperture spaced apart from a leading edge of the sheet. The clip includes a base with a generally planar lower member, the lower member having a leading edge and a trailing edge. The base also has a generally planar upper member extending across the lower member, the upper member also having a leading edge, a trailing edge and an opening between the upper member leading edge and trailing edge. The trailing edge of the upper member is attached to and extends from the base proximate the trailing edge of the lower member. The upper member also includes a spring located proximate to the trailing edge of the upper member and extending into the opening in a generally leading edge direction. The finger spring is operable to apply a force in a generally leading edge direction onto a sheet edge of a sheet inserted and located between the lower member and the upper member. The upper member can include a catch stem located proximate to the leading edge of the upper member yet oppositely disposed across from the opening from the finger spring. The catch stem extends into the opening in a generally trailing edge direction and is operable to catch a sheet edge of the sheet bounding the aperture spaced apart from the leading edge of the sheet and thereby preventing removal of the clip from the sheet. | 02-26-2009
Instrument Panel Energy Absorption Systems - Energy absorption systems are described herein. Energy absorption systems may include an instrument panel reinforcement extending from a passenger side to a driver side of a vehicle, a bracket secured to the instrument panel reinforcement including a body and a distal strike, and an instrument panel assembly including a passenger facing surface and a catch disposed on the instrument panel assembly, wherein when an impact force is applied to the passenger facing surface of the instrument panel assembly, the catch of instrument panel assembly may engage the strike of the bracket to absorb at least a portion of the impact force. | 05-26-2011
