20110025209AUTOMOTIVE HEADLAMP APPARATUS HAVING SWIVEL FUNCTION OF LAMP UNIT - A curvature estimation unit estimates the curvature of the road on which a vehicle is driving. A swivel angle setting unit is configured to perform a first mode in which a swivel angle of a lamp unit is set such that a light distribution pattern follows the travelling direction of the vehicle based on the curvature estimated by the curvature estimation unit, and perform a second mode in which a swivel angle of the lamp unit is set such that a shielded area created in a light distribution pattern follows the position of the vehicle detected by a vehicle position detector. A pattern determination unit determines a light distribution pattern such that the position of the vehicle detected by the vehicle position detector remains in the shielded area. A swivel angle setting unit performs the first mode when it is determined that the road is a curved road based on the curvature estimated by the curvature estimation unit, and performs the second mode when it is determined that the road is a straight road.02-03-2011
20110063860VEHICLE HEADLAMP SYSTEM - A vehicle headlamp system includes a headlamp having multiple control devices and an ECU. Each of the control devices controls a light irradiation condition of the headlamp. The ECU stores vehicle constants, error code information and initialization information corresponding to different types of vehicle, and controls the control devices. When a vehicle type is changed, the ECU selects at least one of the vehicle constants corresponding to the changed vehicle type, clears the stored error code information and the initialization information after selecting the at least one of the vehicle constants, stores initialization information corresponding to the changed vehicle type, and initializes the control devices. The ECU recognizes dependencies between the control devices and, if the control devices include a first control device that is independent, executes normal control by the first control device directly after initializing the first control device.03-17-2011

20090164647INTERFACE APPARATUS, EXCHANGE APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH THE INTERFACE APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR USE IN THE INTERFACE APPARATUS - According to one embodiment, an interface apparatus includes a connector capable of connecting a plurality of SIP terminals and a SIP network to a port, a first processor which executes an exchange processing to the plurality of SIP terminals, a second processor which executes an exchange processing to the SIP network, a memory which stores a terminal ID for specifying each of the plurality of SIP terminals, and a sorting module configured to refer to a stored content of the memory based on sender identification information in a control signal relating to an exchange received by the connector, and sort the control signal to the first processor or the second processor based on a reference result of the memory.06-25-2009
20090245238Telephone System, Associated Exchange, and Transmission Control Method - According to one embodiment, a telephone system which realizes voice communication by using a packet network comprises an exchange which accommodates a telephone terminal as its extension and a call processing server which processes calls on the packet network. The exchange comprises a first trunk connected to the packet network, a second trunk connected to a public network having a different protocol from that of the packet network, a monitoring module which monitors the call processing server, and when a failure occurs in the call processing server, deactivates the first trunk, and a call control module which transfers a transmission request which is made from the telephone terminal to the packet network to the second trunk when the transmission request is made and performs a detour transmission to the public network in a status where the first trunk is inactive.10-01-2009
20100329242SERVER APPARATUS AND SPEECH CONNECTION METHOD - According to one embodiment, a server apparatus includes a memory, a determination module and a controller. The memory stores a management table associating terminal IDs specifying the terminals with media processing abilities owned by the terminals. The determination module refers the management table and determines whether information showing a media processing ability corresponding to the first terminal and information showing a media processing ability corresponding to the second terminal coincide with each other based on the reference result. The controller executes first processing for making speech connection between the first terminal and the second terminal by a peer-to-peer when the media processing abilities coincide with each other, and executes second processing for leading in a speech path between the first terminal and the second terminal to convert into the same media processing ability when the media processing abilities non-coincide with each other.12-30-2010

20080255400Hydrotalcite-Like Substance, Process for Producing the Same and Method of Immobilizing Hazardous Substance - A hydrotalcite-like substance that is capable of ion exchange with target anions, being of small crystal size and that exhibits large basal spacing, excelling in anion exchange performance; a process for producing the same; and a method of immobilizing hazardous substances. A hydrotalcite-like substance is produced by mixing an acidic solution containing aluminum ions and magnesium ions with an alkaline solution containing an alkali to thereby synthesize a hydrotalcite-like substance, followed by, without ageing, water removal or neutralization. The molar ratio of aluminum ions and magnesium ions is preferably in the range of 1:5 to 1:2. Hazardous substances can be immobilized by pulverizing the hydrotalcite-like substance after synthesis and adding the powder to a subject, or adding a hydrotalcite-like substance in slurry form to a subject, or carrying out addition so as to cause the synthesis directly at the position of the subject. Furthermore, anion adsorption can be performed by a filter containing the hydrotalcite-like substance.10-16-2008
