System and Method for Making Composite Material Components - A system and method for making and using composite material components is disclosed. Composite material components are preferably constructed in patterns where every part needed for a given filler is included in a single series pattern. Using these series patterns, the material can be cut, folded and the parts created in a manner such that the individual parts forming a single filler are releasably attached to one another, thus resulting in effective and efficient organization of these parts. The filler panels can then be arranged into a folding stack of offset edges. Two shapes are preferably used with subtle differences between each at the fold area. Different patterns can be used to have the first two panels in the series positioned at 0 degrees, followed by two panels positioned at 45 degrees, and then alternating the angle positions throughout the pattern. The pattern preferably incorporates triangular portions or tabs between each set of panels in the series to help in establishing a fold line. These tabs forming part of the composite material component system are then discarded after the filler panels are created. | 12-23-2010

CHIMNEY CAP WITH REPLACEABLE OR RECYCLABLE CERAMIC CATALYTIC FILTER INSERT - A chimney cap device for a flue opening. The device includes a tubular housing with an open lower end and an open upper end. A plurality of louver openings in a lower portion of the tubular housing draw air into the tubular housing. A removable top is attached to the open upper end of the tubular housing wherein the top includes a plurality of exit openings. A liner is provided within and attached to the tubular housing. A removable catalytic converter insert is supported within the liner to treat emissions from a gas fired appliance. | 01-15-2009
EXHAUST FLUE CAP AND FILTER DEVICE FOR A GAS FIRED APPLIANCE - An exhaust flue cap and filter device for a gas fired appliance in communication with an exhaust flue opening having an outer pipe and a coaxial liner. The device includes a tubular cap with an open lower end, an opposed open upper end, and a plurality of ventilation holes wherein the cap is receivable over the flue opening. A removable top is attached to and closes the open upper end of the tubular cap. A filter tray having a smaller diameter than the tubular cap includes a ledge extending radially inward from the tray. A removable catalytic converter filter insert within the tubular cap is supported on the ledge. | 04-02-2009
GOLF SWING TRAINING APPARATUS - A golf swing training apparatus. The apparatus includes a mounting bar with an extendable length arm stabilizer extending outwardly from the mounting bar and terminating in a headrest. A swing cam is rotatable around the arm stabilizer about an axis coaxial with the arm stabilizer. A guideline extends from the swing cam and terminates in a golf club connector so that the swing cam rotates with movement of the golf club. Additionally, a pair of adjustable length guide rods extends from the mounting bar. | 05-07-2009

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR NUCLEIC ACID AMPLIFICATION - Compositions, reaction mixtures, and methods for performing an amplification reaction, including multiplex amplification reaction, wherein the method comprises using one or more amplification oligomer complexes comprising linked first and second amplification oligomer members. In one aspect, the amplification oligomer complex is hybridized to a target nucleic acid, the target nucleic acid with hybridized amplification oligomer complex is then captured, and other components are washed away. Target sequences of the target nucleic acids are pre-amplified to generate a first amplification product. The first amplification product is amplified in one or more secondary amplification reactions to generate second amplification products. | 01-06-2011
