20100174255	ADAPTER, LID, AND CONNECTOR FOR OSTOMY BAGS - The invention relates to an adapter attached to a human or animal body at a stoma, a detachable lid on the adapter, and a connector for connecting an ostomy bag to the adapter. The adapter includes a protruding section extending from the stoma, and a member for mounting a detachable lid onto the end of the protruding section. The adapter and lid are arranged such that the lid can be slid onto and off the adapter in a direction relatively perpendicular to the axis of the protruding section of the adapter. The connector is arranged to connect the ostomy bag to the adapter and to slide the lid off the adapter.
