The moisture/humidity detecting sensor has various levels of dryness to choose from. Although moisture detecting dryers are readily available, these types of dryers are not in the price range of most consumers. The advantage of this inexpensive power saving concept is that it does not require any mechanical alterations to the clothes dryer (unless being installed on a gas operated clothes dryer). It can be installed on older clothes dryers or newer dryers. Second, the Sensor can detect the humidity which is a far more accurate way of determining when the items are dry. In brief, the small moisture/humidity detecting sensor apparatus is placed inside the drum of the clothes dryer. The clothes dryer is directly plugged into a Receiver which is plugged into the 120V or 240V electrical outlet. When the Moisture/Humidity Sensor apparatus detects that the items are dry it wirelessly communicates to the Receiver which cuts the power to the clothes dryer.
