20090308836DIHYDROXY ENOL COMPOUNDS USED IN CHEMICAL MECHANICAL POLISHING COMPOSITIONS HAVING METAL ION OXIDIZERS - A chemical mechanical polishing composition contains 1) water, 2) optionally an abrasive material, 3) an oxidizer, preferably a per-type oxidizer, 4) a small amount of soluble metal-ion oxidizer/polishing accelerator, a metal-ion polishing accelerator bound to particles such as to abrasive particles, or both; and 5) at least one of the group selected from a) a small amount of a chelator, b) a small amount of a dihydroxy enolic compound, and c) a small amount of an organic accelerator. Ascorbic acid in an amount less than 800 ppm, preferably between about 100 ppm and 500 ppm, is the preferred dihydroxy enolic compound. The polishing compositions and processes are useful for substantially all metals and metallic compounds found in integrated circuits, but is particularly useful for tungsten. The present invention also pertains to surface-modified colloidal abrasive polishing compositions and associated methods of using these compositions, particularly for chemical mechanical planarization, wherein the slurry comprises low levels of chelating free radical quenchers, non-chelating free radical quenchers, or both.12-17-2009

20090122070IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD - An image display apparatus that displays an image on the basis of input image signals corresponding to sub-pixels forming one pixel includes a shift-amount storing unit that stores shift amounts of display positions of the sub-pixels relative to given reference positions in a display image, an image-signal correcting unit that corrects the input image signals according to the shift amounts, and an image display unit that displays an image on the basis of the image signals corrected by the image-signal correcting unit.05-14-2009
20090122089IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD - An image display apparatus that displays an image on the basis of image signals of sub-pixels of first, second, and third color components forming a pixel includes a first light modulating unit that modulates light of the first color component on the basis of the image signal of the sub-pixel of the first color component, a second light modulating unit that modulates light of the second color component on the basis of the image signal of the sub-pixel of the second color component, and a third light modulating unit that modulates light of the third color component on the basis of the image signal of the sub-pixel of the third color component. The first to third light modulating units are provided such that display sub-pixels corresponding to the sub-pixels that use the lights modulated by the first to third light modulating units shift in a first direction that is a horizontal direction or a vertical direction of the image.05-14-2009
20090244088IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD - An image processing device adapted to correct a pixel value corresponding to a sub-pixel constituting a pixel includes a displacement amount storage section adapted to store a displacement amount of a display position of a display sub-pixel corresponding to the sub-pixel constituting a display pixel in a reference position in a display image plane, and a pixel value correction section adapted to correct the pixel value of the sub-pixel corresponding to the display sub-pixel at an end of the display image plane in accordance with the displacement amount stored in the displacement amount storage section.10-01-2009
20090244493IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD - An image processing device includes a lens-shift amount acquisition section adapted to acquire an amount of shift of a projection lens of an image display apparatus, and an image signal correction section adapted to correct the image signal corresponding to a sub-pixel constituting a pixel in accordance with the amount of shift acquired by the lens-shift amount acquisition section.10-01-2009
20100026899IMAGE PROCESSOR, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD, AND PROGRAM - An image processor that corrects image signals corresponding to sub-pixels which form one pixel includes: a shift amount storage section that stores shift amounts of display positions of display sub-pixels corresponding to the sub-pixels which form a display pixel with respect to a predetermined reference position within a display image; and an image signal correcting section that corrects image signals corresponding to sub-pixels, which form each pixel of an input image, on the basis of the shift amounts stored in the shift amount storage section. The image signal correcting section corrects image signals in which dummy image signals corresponding to dummy sub-pixels, which are provided outside sub-pixels in an endmost portion of the input image, are added to input image signals of the sub-pixels.02-04-2010
