20090194376MANUAL WHEEL CHOCKS WITH ENHANCED BRACING UPON DEPLOYMENT - An example wheel restraint includes a wheel chock that is manually movable between a retracted or release position clear of a wheel of a vehicle at a loading dock and an operative position to block the path of the wheel. In the release position, the chock can be manually moved freely along a track that is mounted to a driveway of the dock. When the chock is manually moved from its release position to its operative position, a locking feature automatically restricts the movement of the chock relative to the track. When the chock is manually moved back to its release position, the locking feature automatically disengages. Although the wheel chock is connected to a track, much of the force exerted by the wheel against the chock can be transmitted directly from the chock to the driveway.08-06-2009

20110172484SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL RADIATION SHIELDING TO HIGH LEVEL RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS - A system, method and apparatus for providing additional radiation shielding to a ventilated cask for holding high level radioactive materials. The invention utilizes a tubular shell that is ancillary to the ventilated cask that circumscribes the ventilated cask to add radiation shielding protection while improving heat removal by natural convective air flow. Because the tubular shell and cask are non-unitary and slidably separable from one another, crane lifting capacity is not affected. In one aspect, the invention is an apparatus for providing additional radiation shielding to a cask holding high level radioactive materials comprising: a tubular shell extending from an open bottom end to an open top end, the tubular shell having an inner surface that forms a cavity about a longitudinal axis; a plurality of primary apertures forming passageways through the tubular shell and circumferentially arranged in a spaced-apart manner about the tubular shell; a plurality of secondary apertures forming passageways through the tubular shell and circumferentially arranged in a spaced-apart manner about the tubular shell; and an annular seal coupled to the tubular shell and extending from the inner surface of the tubular shell; wherein the secondary apertures are located at an axial height above the annular seal and the primary apertures are located at an axial height below the annular seal.07-14-2011

20100299205PROTECTED SERVING OF ELECTRONIC CONTENT - Third parties are prevented from obtaining proprietary information that a content provider might not want to expose. Targeting data used to enable a selection service to select targeted or supplemental content can be passed as an anchor in a uniform resource locator or stored in a parent file for a page. A second file can reside in an inline frame (iFrame) on the page that is able to pull the targeting data from the parent page, if in the same domain, or parse the parameters from the data in the anchor. The targeting data can be submitted to a selection service, which can return parameters specifying content or a type of supplemental content to be displayed. The request submitted to a supplemental content provider can come from a nested iFrame in a separate domain, such that the targeting data or source of the parent file cannot be obtained through the nested iFrame.11-25-2010

20120088610Method Using Visual Indicia For Golf Instruction - A method for using visual indicia for teaching a student proper alignment and club selection for each of a plurality of different positions of a ball for a golf type game in which the ball is struck with a club toward a target. The method includes positioning sets of markers at different distances from the target wherein each distance is chosen to represent a particular type of stroke to be made with a club. Other markers are positioned on the putting green to represent a landing spot for a ball struck from a location off of the putting green. Thereafter, directional arrows are positioned along a preferential path for a ball to travel in order to reach the target. The student is aligned with the markers and arrows to create a visual reference to associate with the striking of the ball.04-12-2012
