20090150447DATA WAREHOUSE TEST AUTOMATION FRAMEWORK - Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for providing a data warehouse test automation framework system. A data generation module is provided that is operable to generate data scenarios that ensure specific logic is being validated against a data warehouse. A data validation module is provided that has data validation blocks that provide a framework for validating data completeness and data integrity of a data warehouse. The data validation blocks are represented by query templates that provide specifications for how queries that perform the validating of the data completeness and the data integrity should be structured. Dimensions in the data warehouse are modeled using an object oriented programming syntax.06-11-2009

20090139641COMPOSITE SECTIONS FOR AIRCRAFT FUSELAGES AND OTHER STRUCTURES, AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH SECTIONS - Composite sections for aircraft fuselages and other structures, and methods and systems for manufacturing such sections, are disclosed herein. A method for manufacturing a shell structure in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes applying composite material to an interior mold surface of a tool to form a skin extending 360 degrees around an axis. The method can further include positioning a plurality of stiffeners on an inner surface of the skin. After the stiffeners have been positioned, a vacuum bag can be installed over the stiffeners and evacuated to press the stiffeners and the skin outwardly against the interior mold surface of the tool. Next, the skin/stiffener combination can be cocured to bond the stiffeners to the skin and harden the shell structure.06-04-2009
20100230202Automated Placement of Vibration Damping Materials - Damping material is installed on a structure by moving a material placement head over the structure, and using the head to place the material on the structure.09-16-2010

20090119746GLOBAL POLICY APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS - A method of implementing requirements applicable to systems of an enterprise includes modeling the requirements as contents of policies applicable to target domains of the enterprise. The policy contents are integrated into a policy model. The policy model is adapted to obtain representations of domain-specific requirements corresponding to target systems in the target domains. The representations are integrated with the corresponding target systems to implement the domain-specific requirements.05-07-2009
20090281977CHECKING RULE AND POLICY REPRESENTATION - A computer-performed method of examining policies for a target system of an enterprise system domain. The policies are represented as policy rules, each rule including a condition having binary operator expression(s), each expression referring to one or more policy attributes. For a pair of expressions, the computer(s) obtain sets of sample values sufficient to represent all values assumable by the policy attribute(s) referred to in the pair. The sample values are combined in a mixed-radix enumeration in which each attribute is represented in a corresponding position of each sample value combination and of the enumeration. Using the enumeration, the computer(s) evaluate each expression of the pair relative to each of the sample value combinations to obtain a truth table. Based on the truth table, a relationship between the pair is detected and the user may be notified as to an anomaly in the rules.11-12-2009

20090265720EXTENSIBLE PRIVATE DRIVER INTERFACE - A computer with an extensible framework for facilitating communication between a software component installed on the computer and a device driver that executes functions in response to vendor-specific command objects (e.g., OIDs). The framework defines data structures and a standardized format for defining and implementing private interfaces. After selecting a private interface that is commonly supported by a software component and a driver, a private communication path may be established by an operating system component to facilitate the transfer of command information from the software component to the driver. The private communication path allows commands packaged as OIDs to be routed from software components to intended drivers. By defining private interfaces which route commands from software components to intended drivers, the extensible framework mitigates potential incompatibilities that may arise when drivers created by different vendors include OIDs with the same OID value.10-22-2009
20090271518ETHERNET EXTENSIBILITY - A networked computer with a networking framework that can operate in accordance with a standard protocol or may be configured to perform one or more functions that alter or extend processing according to the standard. The framework includes extensibility points and a mechanism to receive plug-ins that may perform extensibility functions. Network profile information indicates configuration of the extensibility points, including specific extensibility functions to be executed at the extensibility points. This information may be used to configure the extensibility points so that, as the computer operates, the extensibility functions are selectively executed instead of or in addition to standard functions.10-29-2009
20090303934DIRECT WIRELESS CLIENT TO CLIENT COMMUNICATION - A wireless station is connected to a wireless network through an access point and can establish a direct client-to-client connection to a second wireless station. The wireless station can communicate directly with the second wireless station without involving the access point. The wireless station communicates with the wired network and with other wireless stations through the access point. The second wireless station may have an infrastructure connection to the access point or may be independent.12-10-2009
20110142014REMOTE WIRELESS SERVICE INVOCATION WITH EFFICIENT POWER USE ON TARGET WIRELESS DEVICE - A protocol for operation of wireless devices enables a wireless device to remotely and securely invoke a service on a target wireless device without requiring the user of the target wireless device to take any action and without requiring the target wireless device to use power unnecessarily. Mutual authentication is executed while the target wireless device remains in a low power discoverable mode. The discoverable mode includes discovery windows separated by inactive windows when the radio of the target wireless device is powered down.06-16-2011
