20100325540SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TOOL FOR PROVIDING USER CONTEXT INFORMATION TO IMPROVE MESSAGE QUALITY AT DEVELOPMENT TIME - A message occurrence can be detected when a software application runs on a computing device. The message occurrence can be an occurrence where a text containing message is presented upon a user interface of the software application or a log associated with the software application is updated with a text containing message. A user context for the message occurrence can be determined. The user context can include a user sequence and an execution path. Message occurrence information can be conveyed to a message context catalog. Within the message context catalog, the message occurrence information can be indexed against unique message identifiers. Message occurrence information from the message context catalog can be presented in a computer's user interface when a message uniquely identified by the message identifier is presented in the user interface. The user interface can permit a user to edit text of messages.12-23-2010

20080256395DETERMINING AND ANALYZING A ROOT CAUSE INCIDENT IN A BUSINESS SOLUTION - A method, system and computer program product for analyzing a state changing event are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a method for analyzing a state changing event comprises: detecting a state changing event of a first resource; tracing a dependence link beginning at the first resource to a resource that the first resource depends on until finding a second resource having a state changing event that is not dependent on any resource with a state changing event; and identifying the state changing event of the second resource as a root cause incident for analysis.10-16-2008
20080307348Method to Review, Preview and Modify Change Plans From a Progress Bar - A method, system and computer-usable medium are disclosed for using an interactive progress indicator bar to graphically display the completion status of a plurality of computer operations, modify predetermined operations before they are completed, and then restart the modified operations. An interactive progress indicator bar is implemented in a graphical user interface (GUI) and comprises a plurality of progress indicator segments. As computer operations are completed, the details of their completion status are entered into a computer operation log and indexed to their corresponding progress indicator segments. Details of the completion status of predetermined computer operations are viewed by selecting one or more corresponding progress indicator segments through a user gesture. If a predetermined computer operation is to be modified, a second user gesture opens a dialog box allowing the user to perform predetermined modifications. Previously completed computer operations that are subsequent to the modified operation are reversed and computer operations are then restarted, beginning with the modified computer operation.12-11-2008
20100169860DYNAMIC HIGH AVAILABILITY POLICY CREATION BASED UPON ENTRIES IN A CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT DATABASE (CMDB) AND A BEST PRACTICES TEMPLATE - A method for dynamically creating of a high availability policy based upon entries in a configuration management database (CMDB) and a best practices template can be provided. The method can include directing resource discovery in a CMDB for a selected application to discover components and dependencies of the selected application. The method also can include mapping the components and dependencies discovered for the selected application in the CMDB to a best practices template specifying a parameterized high availability topology for the selected application. Finally, the method can include storing the best practices template with mapped components and dependencies as a high availability policy for the selected application.07-01-2010
20110138234AUTOMATED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ERROR AND SERVICE REQUEST CORRELATION - An implementation verification policy for each of a set of change management tasks associated with one of a set of service requests within an information technology (IT) environment is created via a configuration management device. Each of the set of change management tasks is automatically implemented. An error associated with the automated implementation of one of the set of change management tasks is detected based on the implementation verification policy created for one of the set of change management tasks. The error is automatically correlated with a service request that caused the error.06-09-2011

20090004229 RUPTURING CONTROLLED RELEASE DEVICE COMPRISING A SUBCOAT - The present invention provides a simple and improved rupturing controlled release device that is capable of providing a controlled release of active agent contained in the core first through a preformed passageway and then through an in situ formed second passageway into an environment of use in a standardized release profile manner. The rupturing controlled release device comprises a core comprising at least one drug and at least one osmopolymer, a semipermeable membrane enclosing the core and having at least one preformed passageway there through, wherein the semipermeable membrane ruptures during use to form a second passageway in the semipermeable membrane at a location spaced away from the preformed passageway, and a release-controlling subcoat between the core and the semipermeable membrane.01-01-2009
