20080275607Method for Operating an Active Chassis System - A method is provided for operating an active chassis system, in which wheels of at least one axle are arranged with a toe-in angle, and actuating elements which interact with supporting assemblies which are arranged between the wheels and a vehicle body. Wheel contact forces of the wheels assume different values as a result of the actuating elements being actuated. A side force is generated at the wheels which have a toe-in angle, and a resulting yaw moment is produced. A desired yaw rate is determined based upon information from a device which is arranged in the vehicle in order to determine the profile of the roadway in a control unit, and the wheel contact forces are set as a function of the desired yaw rate.11-06-2008
20100023211INFLUENCING DEVICE COMPRISING A DIAGNOSIS UNIT FOR INFLUENCING AN ACTIVE SUSPENSION SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE - An influencing device for influencing an active chassis system is provided. A roadway sensor produces sensor data relating to a roadway which is located in front of the vehicle in the direction of travel, the sensor data is used to acquire a roadway profile. A pilot control unit determines, as a function of the acquired roadway profile, a pilot control variable which is used to adapt the setting of the spring or damper units to the acquired roadway profile. A diagnostic unit acquires a deviation between the anticipated state of the vehicle and the actual, current state of the vehicle on a basis of a variable which describes the roadway profile and a variable which describes the current state of the vehicle.01-28-2010
20100049394Influencing Device for Influencing an Active Chassis System of a Vehicle - An influencing device for influencing an active chassis that includes a plurality of controllable spring or damper units of a vehicle is provided. The influencing device includes a roadway sensor that produces sensor data relating to a roadway located in front of the vehicle in a direction of travel, the sensor data being used to acquire a roadway profile. The influencing device also includes a pilot control unit that determines, as a function of the acquired roadway profile, a pilot control variable that is used to adapt the setting of the spring or damper units to the acquired roadway profile. An input signal for a vehicle body control system, which is used to control the position of the vehicle body, is calculated on the basis of the pilot control variable.02-25-2010
20100262328Method and Apparatus for Influencing the Transverse Dynamics of a Vehicle - In a method and apparatus for influencing transverse dynamics of a vehicle, for a chassis intervention is carried out when an intervention condition is met. The intervention condition is met when the value of a determined transverse dynamics disturbance variable is higher than a disturbance variable threshold value, and when one or a group of the following criteria is met: 10-14-2010

20100083980Platen Cleaning Method - A method for cleaning a workpiece support that includes using a workpiece that has been coated on its bottom surface with a suitable material is disclosed. This specially coated workpiece is placed on the support, and some time later, it is removed, taking with it particles from the support. In certain embodiments, the workpiece undergoes an ion implantation process to increase its temperature, and to increase the tackiness of the coating on the bottom surface. The material used to coat the bottom can be of variable types, including photoresists, oxides and deposited glasses.04-08-2010
20110036990PLATEN TO CONTROL CHARGE ACCUMULATION - An embossed platen to control charge accumulation includes a dielectric layer, a plurality of embossments on a surface of the dielectric layer to support a workpiece, each of a first plurality of the plurality of embossments having a conductive portion to contact a backside of the workpiece when the workpiece is in a clamped position, and a conductor to electrically couple the conductive portion of the first plurality of embossments to ground. An ion implanter having such an embossed platen is also provided.02-17-2011

20100258092FUEL OVERFLOW VALVE FOR A FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM, AND FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM HAVING A FUEL OVERFLOW VALVE - The invention relates to a fuel overflow valve for a fuel injection system, particularly for limiting the pressure in a low-pressure region of the fuel injection system. The fuel overflow valve has a valve housing, in which a valve member is disposed in a stroke-moving manner, the stroke movement of the valve member controlling a connection of an inlet to the valve housing to a release region. The valve member is loaded by a valve spring in the direction of a locking position in which the connection of the inlet to the release region is interrupted, and is loaded by the pressure present in the inlet in the opening direction. The valve member may carry out a further stroke in the locking direction beyond the locking position thereof, where the valve spring does not act upon the valve member. Due to the increased stroke of the valve member, an improved balance of pressure and volume fluctuations is enabled in the low pressure region and the stroke of the valve spring, and thus the stress thereof, may be kept low.10-14-2010
