20110154547Peach rootstock named 'HBOK 50' - A new and distinct variety of peach rootstock denominated ‘HBOK 50’ is described. The ‘HBOK 50’ peach rootstock offers size control ability, root knot nematode resistance, less wood from dormant and summer pruning, and production of fewer root suckers. ‘HBOK 50’ has contributed to size reduction of compound trees when it is used as a clonally-produced rootstock with the fresh market peach “O'Henry”. No evidence of graft incompatibility or other abnormalities have been noted in such circumstances. Fruit on compound trees with ‘HBOK 50’ rootstocks is either similar in size or smaller than ‘Nemaguard’. The ‘HBOK 50’ rootstock displays root knot nematode resistance levels similar to ‘Nemaguard’ and more resistant than ‘Lovell’.06-23-2011
20110154548Peach Tree Rootstock Named 'HBOK 10' - The new ‘HBOK 10’ rootstock, a hybrid between two peach parents, is useful as a commercial under-stock for peach and nectarine cultivars. The stock has been successfully propagated clonally by leafy cuttings and tissue culture. This rootstock imparts significant vigor control to the scion cultivar that is propagated on top of it. This rootstock produces very few root suckers, its anchorage is good and it is resistant to root-knot nematode. Utilization of adapted growth controlling rootstocks in commercial orchard situations reduces the height of the tree and the amount of wood pruned in the winter and summer, without compromising the quality of the fruit. This in turn increases the efficiency of various cultural operations such as pruning, thinning and harvesting by reducing the need for workers in the field to use tall ladders when carrying out these operations.06-23-2011
20110191918Peach rootstock HBOK 32 - The new ‘HBOK 32’ rootstock, a hybrid between two peach parents, is useful as a commercial under-stock for peach and nectarine cultivars. 20110195805DISC THROWING TARGET STRATEGY GAME - A disc throwing game with multiple scoring components includes four flexible poles with point values associated with each different longitudinal segment of the poles. Each set of two poles is placed into or supported vertically on the ground at opposite ends of a playing field, and an inverted cup is placed on top of each pole. The teams stand at opposite ends of the field, behind their set of poles. The offensive team throws a disc, attempting to strike the defensive team's pole(s), knocking the cup(s) from the poles. The offensive team scores points by striking the defending team's pole(s) or cup(s), but only if the defending team does not catch the disc or the falling cup(s) before they strike the ground. The defending team thus attempts to catch a deflected disc or falling cup(s) to prevent the offensive team from scoring.08-11-2011

20130035420Resin For Use In A Coating Composition - A coating system comprises a substrate and a cured film disposed on the substrate and formed from a coating composition. The coating composition comprises a solvent component and a resin. The resin comprises a reaction product of a polyolefin and an oligomer or polymer. The polyolefin, different from the oligomer or polymer, has a functional group that is reactive with the oligomer or polymer and the functional group is selected from acrylate, methacrylate, carboxyl, hydroxyl, epoxide, anhydride and isocyanate functional groups. The oligomer or polymer and the polyolefin are at least partially immiscible in solution at ambient temperature. The oligomer or polymer is grafted with the polyolefin to form the resin.02-07-2013

20090056113STRAP ASSEMBLY COMPRISING FUNCTIONAL BLOCK DEPOSITED THEREIN AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME - Methods and apparatuses for an electronic assembly. The method comprises depositing a functional block into a recessed region, forming dielectric layer selectively over at least one of a selected portion of the functional block and a selected portion of the first substrate; and forming one or more electrical interconnections to the functional block. The recessed region is formed on a first substrate. The depositing of the functional block occurs on a continuous web line and using a Fluidic Self Assembly process. The functional block has a width-depth aspect ratio that substantially matches a width-depth aspect ratio of said recessed region which is one of equal to or less than 10.5:1, and equal to or less than 7.5:1.03-05-2009

20110120320COCONUT OPENER DEVICE - A coconut opening device for creating an opening in a coconut having a tapered end portion formed in an outer husk surrounding an internal shell housing coconut water. The device includes a motor, shaft, and cutting mechanism. The shaft has a proximal end portion coupled to the motor and a distal end portion connected to the cutting mechanism. The cutting mechanism is rotatable with the shaft when the shaft is rotated by the motor. The cutting mechanism is positionable over the tapered end portion of the husk, and operable when so positioned (and rotated by the motor) to cut an opening in both the husk and the shell to provide access to the coconut water housed inside the shell. The coconut may be positioned by a coconut holder when the opening is cut.05-26-2011
