20080265620Device for Mounting a Part to the Body of a Motor Vehicle - A device for mounting a part to a body of a motor vehicle. A positioning mechanism positions the part in relation to the body in a determined fixing position, which is geometrically defined in a reference trihedral formed by the longitudinal axis X, the transverse axis Y, and the vertical axis Z of the body. The positioning mechanism includes a temporary mounting structure including a first mechanism mounting the structure to the body in a given use position in which a second mechanism belonging to the structure cooperates with the part to position the part in relation to the body in the above-mentioned determined fixing position, which is defined by a given positioning reference system corresponding to the use position of the structure on the body.10-30-2008
20080303314Device for Mounting an Opening Panel to the Body of a Motor Vehicle - A device for mounting an opening panel to a body of a motor vehicle. A positioning mechanism positions the opening panel in relation to the body in a determined fitting position, which is geometrically defined in a reference trihedral of the body. The positioning mechanism includes a temporary mounting structure including: (i) a first mechanism positioning the structure in relation to the body, using a first given reference system, in a use position in which the structure is solidly connected to the body; and (ii) a second mechanism that cooperates with a complementary mechanism on the opening panel to position the opening panel, using a second given reference system, in the fitting position thereof in relation to the assembly formed by the structure and the body.12-11-2008

20110200787Suspended Thin Film Structures - Disclosed is a method of preparing a support structure suitable for use, e.g., in microscopic studies, comprising a free standing atomically thin film (e.g. graphene) suspended across an opening in the support structure. The method in one aspect comprises the steps of preparing a thin film which is an atomically thin film (e.g., graphene) on a surface of a solid substrate to form a graphene-layered substrate; attaching the graphene layer to a hole-containing support mesh; removing the solid support, thereby transferring the graphene layer from the substrate to the carbonaceous hole-containing layer on the support mesh; and then removing contaminants to obtain said structure. In another aspect, the present method does not involve a transfer, but comprises a lithography and etching process in which the atomically thin layer is applied to a support which is marked with a lithographic pattern and selectively etched, leaving the free standing film.08-18-2011

20110234417FAILSAFE OSCILLATOR MONITOR AND ALARM - A failsafe oscillator monitor and alarm circuit receives clock pulses from an external oscillator that if a failure thereto occurs, the failsafe oscillator monitor and alarm circuit will notify a digital processor of the external oscillator failure. The failsafe oscillator monitor and alarm circuit is a very low current usage circuit that charges a storage capacitor with clock pulses from the external oscillator when functioning normally and discharges the storage capacitor with a constant current sink if the external oscillator stops functioning. When the voltage charge on the storage capacitor becomes less than a reference voltage an alarm signal is sent to the digital processor for exception or error handling of the failed external oscillator.09-29-2011
