20100021664METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING A SHAPED MULTILAYERED MOLDED ARTICLE - The present invention provides a method and apparatae used to prepare a shaped and molded multilayered article formed from a heated thermoplastic sheet and a first plastic sheet that are driven into melt-bonding contact by a stream of gas. The method involves applying a stream of gas (01-28-2010
20110037198Method of forming a molded plastic article having at least one molded extension - A method of forming a molded plastic article having at least one molded extension extending from a second surface, and a first surface that is substantially free of sink mark defects. The method involves providing a mold (that includes a first mold portion with a recess. Part of the base of the recess is defined by the upper surface of a part ejector. A first plastic material is introduced into the recess to form a molded extension. After at least partial solidification of the molded extension, the part ejector is positioned to push the upper surface and upper portion of the molded extension out of the recess while a lower portion of the molded extension remains within the recess. A second plastic material is introduced into the mold so as to form a molded body in which the upper surface and upper portion of the molded extension are immersed and embedded. As a result the first surface of the molded body is substantially free of sink mark defects opposite the molded extension.02-17-2011

20100219661Extendable Air Control Dam for Vehicle - An air dam is attached to the underside of a vehicle and extends downwardly into proximity with the road surface and potential interference with curbs or like obstructions extending above the road surface. A panel assembly includes a top wall attached to the underside of the motor vehicle, forward and rearward walls depending from the top wall, and a bottom wall. These walls cooperate to define an interior space, and the forward and rearward walls have serially arranged pleats connected by living hinges by which the panel assembly can adjusted in height by flexing the living hinges to provide an extended position of the panel assembly in which the bottom wall is positioned further below the underside of the motor vehicle and a withdrawn position in which the bottom wall is withdrawn upwardly closer to the underside of the motor vehicle to avoid potential interference with curb or like obstructions.09-02-2010

20090247117CELLULAR TELEPHONE SYSTEM THAT USES POSITION OF A MOBILE UNIT TO MAKE CALL MANAGEMENT DECISIONS - A cellular telephone system has call management decisions made based on the exact geographic location of the mobile unit. These call management decisions include billing and taxing decisions, cell site selection, frequency selection and even cellular system selection. The decisions are continuously updated during a call whereby decisions can be made and changed regardless of where a call originated. Cell site location, and even cellular system selection, can be made in a specific manner to best serve the needs of the mobile user, the cellular system as well as the public. It is even possible for a cellular system to locate one or more of its cell sites in the geographic area served by another cellular system. In some cases, cellular systems might even share cell sites.10-01-2009
