20110077989SYSTEM FOR VALUATING EMPLOYEES - A system is described for valuating employees. The system may include a memory and a processor. The memory may store a historical dataset which describes employees of an organization. The historical dataset may include inputs describing employee performance over a time interval. The processor may be operatively connected to the memory and may receive the historical dataset. The processor may identify a value metric which describes the value contributed by each employee to the organization over the time interval. The processor may analyze the historical dataset to identify a subset of the inputs which are indicative of the value metric over the time interval. The processor may generate a predictive model based on the subset of the inputs and the value metric. The predictive model may determine a net present value of each employee indicative of an expected value to be contributed by each employee over a future time interval.03-31-2011

20110264291Methods and Systems for Analyzing Energy Usage - Systems and methods consistent with the present invention allow an energy consumption index to be generated from DR response data and influencer data. The energy consumption index may indicate the energy consumption of a consumer before receiving a DR signal, the change in the consumption after the consumer receives a DR signal, and the consumer's propensity to respond to a DR signal. Systems and methods consistent with the present invention also allow energy providers to monitor, forecast, and plan for changes in consumer demand for energy. Various energy planning tools may facilitate an energy provider's ability to monitor, forecast, and plan for such changes.10-27-2011

20110137876DATA QUALITY ENHANCEMENT FOR SMART GRID APPLICATIONS - A method, in one embodiment, can include encoding knowledge about a topic domain into a data modeling technique. Additionally, a set of candidate conditional functional dependencies can be generated based on a data set of the topic domain. Moreover, the set of candidate conditional functional dependencies and the data modeling technique encoded with the topic domain knowledge can be applied to the data set to obtain a plurality of data quality rules for the data set.06-09-2011
