20100122046Memory Micro-Tiling - According to one embodiment, a memory controller is disclosed. The memory controller includes assignment logic and a transaction assembler. The assignment logic receives a request to access a memory channel. The transaction assembler combines the request into one or more additional requests to access two or more independently addressable subchannels within the channel.05-13-2010
20110072164PCI EXPRESS ENHANCEMENTS AND EXTENSIONS - A method and apparatus for enhancing/extending a serial point-to-point interconnect architecture, such as Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) is herein described. Temporal and locality caching hints and prefetching hints are provided to improve system wide caching and prefetching. Message codes for atomic operations to arbitrate ownership between system devices/resources are included to allow efficient access/ownership of shared data. Loose transaction ordering provided for while maintaining corresponding transaction priority to memory locations to ensure data integrity and efficient memory access. Active power sub-states and setting thereof is included to allow for more efficient power management. And, caching of device local memory in a host address space, as well as caching of system memory in a device local memory address space is provided for to improve bandwidth and latency for memory accesses.03-24-2011
20110128765IDENTIFYING AND ACCESSING INDIVIDUAL MEMORY DEVICES IN A MEMORY CHANNEL - In one embodiment of the invention, a memory integrated circuit is provided including a memory array, a register, and control logic coupled to the register. The memory array in the memory integrated circuit stores data. The register includes one or more bit storage circuits to store one or more identity bits of an identity value. The control logic provides independent sub-channel memory access into the memory integrated circuit in response to the one or more identity bits stored in the register.06-02-2011

20100247803Chemical vapor deposition method - A chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method for depositing a thin film on a surface of a substrate is described. The CVD method comprises disposing a substrate on a substrate holder in a process chamber, and introducing a process gas to the process chamber, wherein the process gas comprises a chemical precursor. The process gas is exposed to a non-ionizing heat source separate from the substrate holder to cause decomposition of the chemical precursor. A thin film is deposited upon the substrate.09-30-2010

20100115560SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTERACTIVE TELEVISION - A system and method for interactive television (ITV) includes presenting both TV channels and “virtual channels” on an ITV. A virtual channel can be a Web page stored in memory of the ITV (or remote therefrom) and accessed by a microprocessor in the ITV when a user selects the virtual channel number using a conventional TV remote control. The particular Web page can be established based on consumer data, such as demographic data supplied by the consumer or consumer responses to prompts displayed along with a channel. The Web page associated with the virtual channel can be updated or changed by sending data to the ITV through the VBI of a TV signal or via the Internet, through a modem on the ITV.05-06-2010
