20080212195IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS - An image display apparatus is disclosed in which the position of an exit pupil can follow the movement of a pupil of an observer even with a small size. The apparatus includes an image-forming element which forms an image, an ocular unit which causes light from the image-forming element to form an exit pupil, and an optical element which reflects the light from the image-forming element toward the ocular unit. The optical element has an optical power and is rotated about a focal point of the ocular unit on the side closer to the image-forming element to move the exit pupil.09-04-2008
20080239004INK JET PRINT HEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING INK JET PRINT HEAD - An ink jet print head is provided which allows an ejection opening-formed surface to be cleaned well and can improve a precision with which ejected ink lands on a print medium. For this purpose, conductive layers of a conductive material are formed on the support substrate and planarized. The liquid ejection substrates are mounted on the support substrate with high precision, without a sealing agent, that protects electrical connecting portions on the liquid ejection substrates, protruding from the ejection opening-formed surface.10-02-2008
20080309731INK JET PRINTING HEAD - A printing head is provided in which a distance between an ejection port face of the printing head and a print medium is reduced to improve an ink ejection accuracy during a printing operation. The printing head of the present invention is a back shooting-type printing head. The heater and an electrode connected thereto are formed at the back face of the substrate. The electrode and an in-support-base wiring for supplying electricity to the heater via the electrode are connected to each other at the back face side of the substrate. The substrate and the support base have therebetween a liquid chamber wall member including therein a space. The substrate, the support base, and the liquid chamber wall member constitute a liquid chamber that communicates with the ejection port and that stores ink supplied to the ejection port.12-18-2008
20090040585OPTICAL SCANNING APPARATUS AND IMAGE DISPLAYING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME - The object of the present invention is to provide an optical scanning apparatus which is not limited in the disposition of a scanning device, can reduce the adherence of dust to each member of the scanning device, and is enhanced in the reliability of the scanning device, and an image displaying apparatus having the same. The optical scanning apparatus includes a housing for containing and holding therein a scanning device provided with a movable mirror, an elastic supporting portion for supporting the movable mirror swingably about a swinging center, and a supporting base for supporting the elastic supporting portion, an optical member OE constituting a first optical system for directing a beam to the scanning device in the housing, and an optical member OX constituting a second optical system for emerging the beam passed through the scanning device. At least a part of the optical member OE and at least a part of the optical member OX constitute a part of the housing, and are provided so that a space in which the scanning device is contained in the housing configures a sealed space.02-12-2009
20090267994LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD, INK JET RECORDING HEAD AND INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS - The invention provides an ink jet recording head, in which, for improving heat-dissipating property and electrode terminal connectivity and reducing production cost, second electrode terminals provided on a supporting surface of plural laminated sheets for supporting a liquid discharge substrate and to be connected with first electrode terminals of the liquid discharge substrate are provided outside an ink supply aperture formed in an outermost sheet constituting the supporting surface, and are supported by the outermost sheet and at least a sheet laminated thereunder.10-29-2009
20090310199SCANNING IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS - A scanning type image display apparatus is disclosed which is capable of forming an exit pupil with a shape and a size which facilitate observation. The apparatus includes a scanning unit, a first optical system introducing a light flux to the scanning unit, a second optical system converging the light flux from the scanning unit, a diffractive optical element receiving the converged light flux, and an ocular optical system. Two directions in diametral directions of the light flux are first and second directions. The optical element increases the divergent angles of an emerging light flux therefrom in the first and second directions as compared with the convergent angles of an incident light flux thereinto in the two directions and increases the divergent angle of the emerging light flux in the first direction as compared with the divergent angle thereof in the second direction.12-17-2009
20100013889INK JET PRINTING HEAD - There is inexpensively and simply provided a highly reliable printing head including a printing element substrate which is located with high positioning precision and therefore causes no occurrence of ink leak regardless of the printing head having a large printing width. An ink jet printing head comprising a plurality of printing element substrates in each of which a plurality of ejecting openings, printing elements and an ink supply opening, a support member and an ink supply member wherein the support member is formed of a first member and a second member and is integral with the first member so as to surround the first member and the support member and the ink supply member are bonded in such a manner that bonding faces of the first member and the second member, and the second member are not in contact with the opening.01-21-2010
20110188127VARIABLE FOCUS LENS - The variable focus lens of the present invention changes the refractive power by changing each of the shapes of a first interface formed by a first liquid and a second liquid that have refractive indices that differ from each other and a second interface formed by the second liquid and a third liquid that have refractive indices that differ from each other. Thereby, this variable focus lens changes the first interface and the second interface such that the sign of the refractive power of the first interface and the sign of the refractive power of the second interface differ from each other.08-04-2011
