20080224469Quick Connector - Coupling for connecting of pipe shaped sections comprising a first pipe section and a coupling device arranged to connect the first pipe section with a second pipe section. When joined together, the first pipe section is arranged to receive the second pipe section in such a way that the first pipe section and the second pipe section forms an overlapping region. The wall of the first pipe section is provided with a through hole in the overlapping region and the coupling device is adapted to protrude through the hole. The coupling device is at least at one of its ends slidably attached in such a way that a rotational displacement around, and essentially perpendicular to, the axial direction of the pipe section will give rise to a change between a first position for locking, wherein said coupling device is protruding on the inner side of the first pipe section, and a second position for release wherein the coupling device essentially not is protruding.09-18-2008

20090170671EXERCISE EQUIPMENT - This invention concerns exercise equipment, intended for training upper body mussels by imitating the movement that is conducted in conjunction with paddling. The exercise equipment is equipped with a moveable handle that is connected to at least one energy-accumulating unit. The energy-accumulating unit is preferably comprised of an elongated elastic element consisting of a stretchable material. When using the exercise equipment the handle is moved in the axial direction of the equipment thereby accumulating energy in the energy-accumulating unit. Through the continuing motion the accumulated energy is released from the elongated elastic element and thereby returned to the person exercising. Use of the exercise equipment in accordance with the invention is a more effective way to develop upper body muscles than using traditional walking poles. Furthermore, a positive side effect is created when tensions on leg muscles are reduced.07-02-2009

20100298548METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF SEPARATION MEDIA - The present invention relates to a method for production of separation media using a so called Spinning Disc technology wherein the porosities of the beads are optimized in such a way that a desired biomolecule may be separated from a complex sample. The method comprises the following steps: a) feeding a 4-8% polysaccharide solution, which has a viscosity within 350-450 mPas, at 65-75° C. to one or more spinning discs at 3001-3010 rpm to form polysaccharide beads; b) capturing said formed polysaccharide beads in a capturing bath; wherein the porosity of the polysaccharide beads is controlled by varying the temperature of the capturing between 15 and 27° C., preferably between 17.5 and 24.6° C. The method yields porosities that prevent molecules larger than 150 000 g/mol to diffuse into the beads.
