SECURITY SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY FOR VALUABLE DOCUMENTS - The invention relates to a security system especially for security documents, wherein a security element is provided in a carrier plane, that under incident light holographically reconstructs a pattern outside the carrier plane, in which concealed information is stored and having a fiat transparent verification element which on fiat contact with the security element makes the information stored therein visible. The invention further relates to a security element and a verification element for use in the security system and a security document fitted with the security system. The invention additionally relates to an apparatus and a method for reading out the concealed information which is stored holographically in the pattern reconstructed on the security element under incident light. | 08-05-2010

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING DIMETHYL ETHER FROM METHANOL - A process produces dimethyl ether (DME) from methanol (MeOH). The process includes charging a feed mixture consisting of raw MeOH and a process-internally obtained return flow substantially consisting of unconverted MeOH and reaction water to an MeOH column. The feed mixture is evaporated in the MeOH column to form a first distillate substantially consisting of vaporous MeOH. The first distillate is supplied to a reactor and the MeOH is converted to DME by splitting off water in the reactor so as to form a reaction mixture. The reaction mixture is withdrawn from the reactor, charged to a mixture column and separated into a bottom product substantially consisting of water and a second distillate substantially consisting of DME and MeOH. The second distillate is separated in a DME column into a third distillate substantially consisting of DME, a bottom product consisting essentially of water-poor MeOH, and uncondensable gases discharged overhead. The bottom product is either supplied to a top of the MeOH column or mixed with another bottom product withdrawn from a forerun column. | 12-01-2011

Method for the Production of Synthetic Fuels from Oxygenates - Disclosed is a method for the production of synthetic fuels, wherein, in a first step, a gas mixture consisting of methanol and/or dimethyl ether and/or another oxygenate and water vapor is reacted at temperatures of 300-600° C. in order to form olefins with, preferably, 268 carbon atoms. In a second step, the olefin mixture thus obtained is oligomerized at an elevated pressure to form higher olefins with predominantly more than 5, preferably 10-20 carbon atoms. According to said method, a) the production of olefins in the first step is carried out in the presence of a gas flow which essentially consists of saturated hydrocarbons which are separated from the product flow of the second step and returned to the first step, and (b) the production of olefins is carried out in the second step in the presence of a flow of water vapor which is separated from the product flow of the first step and returned to the first step. | 02-26-2009

Transfer dish for dental materials - A transfer dish for dental materials has a bottom surface, a top surface and a front surface. The top surface is designed with troughs for receiving pre-dosed amounts of dental material for application which have, in the front area, a plane ramp sloping toward a rear area, and, in the rear area, the troughs have a concave wall adjacent to a transition area. The transition area is designed as an osculating curve of the concave wall with respect to the plane ramp, and the trough, in a top view, has the contour of a U which is open toward a front area of the transfer dish. The ramp tapers in width toward the front area of the transfer dish. | 07-30-2009

Directional Coupler in Coaxial Line Technology - A directional coupler comprising a first connection for the inlet or outlet of a shaft, a first decoupling connection which is used to decouple a coupled shaft, a second connection for the inlet or outlet of the inlet or outlet shaft from the first connection and a second decoupling connection which is used to decouple the coupled shaft. The first connection and the first decoupling connection are connected to the internal conductor and to the external conductor of a coaxial conductor on the first connection surface thereof, by means of a first network. The second connection and the second decoupling connection are connected to the internal conductor and to the external conductor of the coaxial conductor on the second connection surface thereof, by means of a second network. The coaxial conductor is curved in such a manner that it is arranged in a parallel manner in relation to the first and second connection surfaces thereof, with a planar circuit board containing the first connection, the second connection, the first decoupling connection and/or second decoupling connection. | 02-05-2009
